Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject panel cutting off outdoor noise pollution and keeping comfortable life by mainly mixing bagasse, a polyester fiber and a low m.p. fiber and heating the resulting mixture under pressure. CONSTITUTION: Bagasse 2, a polyester fiber 4, a low m.p. fiber 5 and activated carbon 3 are mixed by a mixer to be brought to such a state that the fibers, bagasse and activated carbon are finely and ideally mixed. The resulting mixture is pressed for 15min at 200 deg.C under pressure of 150kg to obtain a panel for the inner wall of a building. This panel has sound insulating properties and cuts off atmospheric temp. in summer and has indoor heat insulating properties in winter and enables comfortable life. Further, the propagation and penetration of various bacteria in the rainy season and the penetration of harmful insects generated from spring to summer can be prevented by mixing an antibacterial and insecticidal fiber, an antibacterial agent and an insecticide with the polyester fiber 4 and the low m.p. fiber 5.
