[Description of operation] Folding sheets 3 stacked on the stock line A
Are sequentially handled on the sorting line B from the leading side,
It is sequentially guided from the supply line C to the folding hopper 18 and further continuously and sequentially supplied to the collator by a feeder.
A group of signatures conveyed in a horizontal state is conveyed in an obliquely upward direction while maintaining a vertical posture on the separating line B, and is fed to the lower side of the supply line C in an inclined posture with a step,
Since the number of tilted-fed signatures supplied to the upper side of the supply line C is suppressed to a small amount, the pressure of the signatures on the supply line C is negligible, and the pressure of the subsequent signature groups is shut off. The signatures on the supply line C can be smoothly separated, and misalignment and damage of the signatures can be completely eliminated. The upper end of the round belt 7 forming the sorting line B is rotatably connected to the lower end of the carrier 2 of the stock line A, and the round belt 7 is provided with an arcuate guide surface 6a on the lower side. By being installed on the fan-shaped frame body 6 having a round shape, the inclination angle of the round belt 7 is adjusted according to the thickness of the signature, that is, the angle is increased when the signature is thick and heavy, and the signature is also increased. When the thickness is thin and light, the angle of the folded plates can be made uniform by making the angle small so that the folded lines can be fed to the supply line C at a constant pressure. In addition, the arcuate guide surface 6a can rationally prevent the signature that has moved to the upper hand side of the inclined supply carrier 12 from intervening on the lower surface of the round belt 7. On the other hand, a push plate 26 is provided on the final surface of the signature 3 mounted on the carrier 2 that constitutes the stock line A, and the signature 3 is attached.
To prevent falling. The push plate 26 is operated at the same speed as the folding feed belt by the endless chain 20 mounted coaxially with the endless belt 2a. The endless chain 20 is provided below the push plate 26.
Projection 27 that goes into the gap of chain link roller 20a
The push plate 26 slidably held by the guide rod 22 moves at the same speed as the endless belt 2a. The pushing plate 26 can loosen the set screw 29 and freely change the mounting angle according to the thickness of the folding plate 3. Further, the bundled folded tabs to be replenished are mounted on the rear portion of the push plate 26 so that the push plate 26 rotatably held by the guide rod 22 can be avoided at the upper part, and the holder 24 can be attached to the rest bar 23 as shown in FIG. After being set in the rear part of the signature 3 while being locked in the lock, the signature 3 can be quickly replenished by cutting and removing the signature binding string, and a large number of signatures can be held and mounted accurately. It will be possible.

As described above, according to the structure of the present invention, the following effects can be obtained. (A) A pushing plate can be provided on the final surface of the signature installed on the carrier forming the stock line to prevent the signature from collapsing, and the pressing plate is mounted coaxially with the endless belt. Is operated at the same speed as the folding feed belt, and there is a protrusion at the bottom of the push plate that goes into the chain link roller gap of the endless chain, and the push plate slidably held by the guide rod moves at the same speed as the endless belt. However, the folded sheet can be smoothly supplied to the separating line. (B) It is possible to loosen the set screw and freely change the mounting angle of the push plate according to the thickness of the signature. In addition, the bundled folds to be replenished are mounted on the rear part of the push plate, the push plate rotatably held by the guide rod is evaded to the upper part, and it is moved and set to the rear part of the fold, and then the fold cord is attached. By cutting and deleting, the signatures can be quickly replenished, a large number of signatures can be held and mounted in an accurate state, and great labor saving can be achieved.
