は不変のため図3(A)から図3(B)への変化により
吹出口の面積が減少し、吹出風量が減少しても吹出速度
はある範囲に維持されるかもしくは増加して、暖房運転
時に吹出温風を床面に到達させるために都合のよい構成
となり、定格運転時の温度分布が図4のAのようになる
良好なものであった。これにより、前記可動板9の作用
により吹出風量が少ない場合でもある吹出風速を維持す
ることができるため、小風量または高温風の空気を床面
へ送り込むことが可能となり、暖房フィーリングの向上
を図ることができた。しかしながら、前記構成において
は、冷房運転時における吹出風向については何ら考慮さ
れていないため、図4のBのような温度分布になってし
まい吹出冷風が本体1から離れた位置にまで届かなくな
り、室内の温度分布が悪化するという問題点を有してい
た。また、構造的にも、前記可動板9が常時外部に露出
しているため外観的に見栄えが悪く、且つ複雑な構造に
なるという問題点を有していた。
