Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.複数の遠隔ユニットがTDMAパケット伝送システム内の通信制御装置か ら該制御装置にアクセス要求を送信することによりTDM資源を要求する前記T DMAパケット伝送システムにおける、要求の競合および資源の不適当な割当て の可能性を低減するための通信制御装置であって、 前記複数の遠隔ユニットからアクセス要求を受信するための受信機、 前記受信機に結合され、受信された要求に応答するためにTDM資源が利用可 能であるかを決定するための制御手段、そして 前記制御手段に結合され、要求の受信に応じてかつTDM資源が利用可能でな い場合にのみアクノレッジメントを要求遠隔ユニットに送信し、かつ 要求の受信に応じてかつTDM資源が利用可能である場合に遠隔ユニットに対 し承認を送信するための送信機、 を具備する要求の競合および資源の不適当な割当ての可能性を低減するための 通信制御装置。 2.さらに受信された要求を記憶するためのメモリを具備する、請求項1に記 載の通信制御装置。 3.前記受信機はTDM受信機である、請求項1に記載の通信制御装置。 4.複数の遠隔ユニットがTDMAパケット伝送システ ム内の通信制御装置から該制御装置にアクセス要求を送信することによりTDM 資源を要求する前記TDMAパケット伝送システムにおける、要求の競合および 資源の不適当な割当ての可能性を低減するための遠隔ユニットであって、 前記通信制御装置にアクセス要求を送信するための送信機、 前記送信機に結合され、前記遠隔ユニットによって発行された未決着のアクセ ス要求の数の関数として決定される第1の期間を有する第1のタイマをスタート させるための手段、 前記送信機に結合され、パケット伝送資源が利用可能でない場合に前記通信制 御装置からアクノレッジメントを受信するための受信機、 前記受信機および前記第1のタイマに結合され、前記アクノレッジメントの受 信の関数として、前記第1のタイマをディスエーブルしかつ前記第1の期間より 大きな期間を有する第2のタイマをスタートさせるための手段、 前記第1および第2のタイマに結合され、前記第1の期間または第2の期間の 経過に応じて重複要求を前記制御装置に送信するための送信機、 を具備する要求の競合および資源の不適当な割当ての可能性を低減するための 遠隔ユニット。 5.TDM資源は周波数スペクトルおよびTDMタイムスロットからなるグル ープから選択される、請求項4に記 載のシステム。 6.さらに未決着の要求の数Qを決定するための手段、送信された要求の数R を決定するための手段、最小リトライインターバル時間Tを確立するための手段 、通信制御装置からTDM資源を要求するために利用可能なTDMフレームごと のタイムスロットの数Sを決定する手段、そしてQ Uniform(0,2R- 1 )/S+Tの関数として第1のタイマ期間を計算するための手段を具備する、 請求項4に記載の遠隔ユニット。 7.さらに、未決着の要求の数Qを決定するための手段、送信された要求の数 Rを決定するための手段、最小承認インターバル時間T1を確立するための手段 、通信制御装置からTDM資源を要求するために利用可能なTDMフレームごと のタイムスロットの数Sを決定するための手段、そしてQ Uniform(0 ,2R-1)/S+T1の関数として第2のタイマ期間を計算するための手段を具備 する、請求項4に記載の遠隔ユニット。 8.複数の遠隔ユニットが通信制御装置から該制御装置に複数の要求を送信す ることによりTDM資源を要求するTDMAパケット伝送システムにおける、要 求トラフィックの競合およびTDM資源の不適当な割当ての可能性を低減する方 法であって、 遠隔ユニットにおいて、 要求を送信しかつそれに応じて第1のタイマをスタート させる段階であって、該第1のタイマは前記遠隔ユニットによって発行された未 決着の要求の数の関数として決定される動的なインターバルを有するもの、 前記制御装置からアクノレッジメントを受信する段階、 前記アクノレッジメントの受信の関数として、前記第1のタイマをディスエー ブルしかつ前記第1の期間より持続時間が大きな第2の期間を有する第2のタイ マをスタートさせる段階、および 前記第1または第2のタイマの経過に応じてのみ重複要求を送信し、それによ って要求トラフィックの競合の可能性を低減する段階、そして 前記通信制御装置において、 前記遠隔ユニットから要求を受信する段階、 要求をメモリに格納する段階、 要求の受信に応じてかつTDM資源が利用可能である場合に前記遠隔ユニット に承認を送信する段階、および 要求の受信に応じてかつTDM資源が利用可能でない場合に前記遠隔ユニット にアクノレッジメントを送信し、それによってTDM資源の不適当な割当ての可 能性を低減する段階、 を具備する要求トラフィックの競合およびTDM資源の不適当な割当ての可能 性を低減する方法。 9.さらに前記第1のタイマ期間を、 未決着の要求の数Qを決定する段階、 送信された要求の数Rを決定する段階、 最小リトライインターバル時間Tを確立する段階、 前記通信制御装置からパケット伝送サービスを要求するために利用可能なTD MAフレームごとのタイムスロットの数Sを決定する段階、そして 前記第1の期間をQ Uniform(0,2R-1)/S+Tの関数として計 算する段階、 によって設定する段階を具備する、請求項8に記載の方法。 10.前記最小リトライ期間Tを確立する段階はさらに、 要求を格納するた めの長さLを有するキューを提供する段階、 アクノレッジメントを送信するために利用可能なTDMAフレームごとのタイ ムスロットの数Nを決定する段階、そして 最小リトライインターバル時間Tを(L−1)/(Nー1)の関数として計算 する段階、 を具備する請求項9に記載の方法。 11.さらに、アクノレッジメントの受信に応じて前記遠隔ユニットが前記第 1のタイマをディスエーブルする段階を具備する、請求項8に記載の方法。 12.さらに、前記第2のタイマ期間を、 未決着の要求の数Qを決定する段階、 送信された要求の数Rを決定する段階、 最小承認タイマ期間T1を確立する段階、 前記通信制御装置からパケット伝送サービスを要求するために利用可能なTD MAフレームごとのタイムスロットの数Sを決定する段階、そして 前記第2のタイマ期間をQ Uniform(0,2R-1)/S+T1の関数と して計算する段階、 によって設定する段階を具備する、請求項8に記載の方法。 13.前記最小承認時間インターバルT1を確立する段階はさらに、 要求を格納するための長さLを有するキューを提供する段階、 最大サイズのデータパケットを通信するために必要なデータスロットの数に等 しい数N1を決定する段階、そして TDMAフレームごとのデータタイムスロットの合計数に等しい数N2を決定 する段階、そして 前記時間T1をN1/N2(2L−1)の関数として計算する段階、 を具備する、請求項12に記載の方法。
