Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the front surface sectioned into the specific shapes, and also to restrain falling of fibers from being generated by constituting a sound absorbing member by an only hard cotton-like material laminated web made of fibers into which thermal melting fibers are mixed, and melting mutual fibers onto the outer periphery of the sound absorbing part by thermal melting fibers. CONSTITUTION:A sound absorbing member 1 is provided with sound absorbing parts 2 and an edge part 3. The edge part 3 is thin and can be bent. As fibers to be used for materials of the sound absorbing member 1, a hard cotton (laminated web) wherein normal polyester fiber and thermal melting polyester fiber are mixed to each other by the specific rate is used. The thermal melting fibers are constituted of a core member made of polyester having the high melting point and a sheath member made of polyester having low melting point. Since the front surface 4 is melted by the application of heat, the front surface shape of the sound absorbing member 1 is sectioned by heat pressing, and also fluffing and falling of fibers of the sound absorbing member front surface 4 causing dust can be restrained.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of a conventional sound absorbing material mounted in an air cleaner box, which is partially broken. As shown in the figure, the sound absorbing material 10 includes a sound absorbing portion 12 arranged corresponding to each inner surface of the air cleaner box and an edge portion 13 arranged around each sound absorbing portion 12, and both side surfaces thereof. Are covered with covers 14a and 14b. Inside the sound absorbing portion 12 having a relatively large thickness, a felt (sound absorbing member) 15 formed into a shape corresponding to the corresponding inner surface shape of the air cleaner box to be mounted is inserted. On the other hand, the edge portion 13 is a portion where the covers 14a and 14b on both sides are directly adhered, and is freely bendable. Therefore, by bending at the edge portion 13, the sound absorbing material 10 can be arranged in the air cleaner box in a state in which each sound absorbing portion 12 corresponds to a predetermined inner surface.

The fibers used as the material of the sound absorbing material 1 include, for example, nylon and polypropylene, but polyester is most preferable. In addition, if the single yarn fineness is the same, the thinner the better from the viewpoint of the sound deadening effect, the thicker it is from the viewpoint of maintaining the shape. As a result of various studies on such advantages and disadvantages, in order to achieve the object of the present invention, the single yarn fineness of the polyester fiber is preferably 1 to 12 denier per single yarn, and preferably 1.5 to 6 denier. Is the best. Then, the material of the sound absorbing material is formed by using Katata cotton (laminated web) in which a normal polyester fiber and a so-called heat-fusible polyester fiber are mixed at a predetermined ratio.

The heat fusion fiber is a fiber composed of a core material made of polyester having a relatively high melting point and a sheath material made of polyester having a relatively low melting point which covers the periphery of the core material. When heated to a temperature lower than the melting point and higher than the melting point of the sheath material, only the sheath material is melted.

Therefore, when the sheath material of the heat-sealing fiber is melted by heating the material, the molten fiber functions as a binder to bond the heat-sealing fiber and the ordinary polyester fiber or the ordinary polyester fibers together. To do. In this way, when a material containing heat-sealing fibers is used as the material of the sound-absorbing material 1, the surface 4 is fused by applying heat, so that the outer shape of the material, that is, the surface of the sound-absorbing material 1 is hot-pressed. At the same time as defining the shape, it is possible to suppress fluffing and hair loss on the surface 4 of the sound absorbing material, which cause dust.

Although various combinations of melting temperatures of the core material and the sheath material of the heat-sealing fiber can be set, the heat-sealing fiber of this embodiment has a core material having a melting point of about 260 ° C. and a melting point of about 120.
It consists of ℃ sheath material. The blending ratio of the heat fusion fiber is
In order to exhibit the above characteristics, that is, the characteristics of suppressing fluffing and hair loss, it is necessary to be 10% or more based on the total weight, but if it is too large, it becomes too hard after fusion and the soundproofing effect decreases. Because of this, Katata cotton (laminated web)
The blending ratio of the heat fusion fiber in 10 is 10 to 60% (weight), preferably 15 to 40% (weight).

A method of hot pressing such a material to form a sound absorbing material will be described. First, a plate-shaped raw material cut into a predetermined shape is carried into a hot-pressing die (not shown) that has been heated to a predetermined temperature in advance, and hot-pressing is performed. This mold is formed with a concavo-convex shape corresponding to the sound absorbing portion 2 and the edge portion 3, and a predetermined number (five in this embodiment) of the sound absorbing portion 2 and the edge portion 3 are formed at once by heat pressing. Molded.
By molding by pressing in this way, it is possible to mold all the sound absorbing parts 2 at a time, so the mutual positions do not shift,
It is possible to mold the sound absorbing material 1 having the same shape without variations. Moreover, since the molding can be performed in one step, the sound absorbing material 1 can be manufactured at an extremely low manufacturing cost.

Further, in this embodiment, the material is pressed for 40 seconds by a mold heated to 150 ° C. to mold the material into the sound absorbing material 1 having a desired shape. In this case, since the surface 4 of the material (sound absorbing material 1) in contact with the mold is heated first, the heat-bonding fiber on the surface 4 is first melted. The melted heat-fusible fiber functions as a binder for adhering the heat-fusible fiber to the ordinary fiber or to the ordinary fibers, and when the material is cooled, these fibers are interconnected.

As described above, when the material in which the heat fusion fibers are mixed is used, the material is molded into a predetermined shape by hot pressing, and at the same time, the fibers on the surface 4 of the material (sound absorbing material 1) are adhered to each other to form a fluff. Hair loss can be suppressed. Therefore, the sound absorbing material 1 of this embodiment does not require a member such as a cover for preventing dust.

On the other hand, since the inside of the material (sound absorbing material 1) is not heated as rapidly as the surface, if the time of hot pressing is made relatively short as in this embodiment, for example, the heat-sealing fiber inside the sound absorbing portion 2 will be used. Is hardly melted. That is, the inside of the sound absorbing portion 2 hardly changes before and after the hot pressing and remains as a so-called absorbent cotton, so that excellent sound absorbing performance is maintained.

The sound absorbing material 1 of the above embodiment is an embodiment for clearly explaining the present invention and does not limit the content of the present invention. Therefore, various modifications can be made. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the shape of the sound absorbing material 1 may be, of course, one sound absorbing portion 2 and an edge portion 3 formed around the sound absorbing portion 2. Further, in this embodiment, the mold is heated to 150 ° C. and hot pressed, but the mold heating temperature may be a temperature that can melt the sheath material of the heat-sealing fiber. further,
The heat pressing time should be set according to the molten state of the heat-sealing fibers inside the sound absorbing portion, and needless to say, may not be 40 seconds.
