[Detailed description of the invention] A case in which cotton core material for mattresses is manufactured using various synthetic fibers that have been widely used in the past (e.g., polyester fibers, polyamide fibers, polyacrylic fibers, polypropylene fibers, etc.) Although these fibers have very strong properties such as shrinkability, elasticity, heat retention, and breathability, they have the disadvantage of having almost no moisture control properties.

In order to compensate for the above-mentioned drawbacks, this invention uses cotton, which has excellent moisture control properties, in addition to the various synthetic fibers mentioned above.
We came up with the idea of using wool, silk and other plant fibers, and animal fibers in combination under certain compositional conditions. This allows us to create a mattress that does not sag and is always elastic, but also has the moisture control properties that are essential for a mattress. The company has devised a superior cotton core material for mattresses that has never existed before.

On the other hand, it is also possible to add any one of the plant or animal fibers such as cotton, wool, silk, etc. that have humidity control properties, or to add the plant or animal fibers such as cotton, wool, silk, etc. to the above various synthetic fibers. Add and mix an appropriate amount (10 to 40%) of resin powder or fibers that can be melted and bonded by dry heat or steam heat in the same way as in the case of the core-stretched cotton body 1 to a mixture of any one of them. Using a cotton machine, roll out the cotton to a suitable thickness (5 to 100 mm inside and outside), and prepare upper and lower rolled cotton bodies 2, 2.

(2), and in this three-layered state, heat treatment is performed using dry heat or steam heat at a high temperature of 130° to 200°C, so that the constituent fibers of each expanded cotton body can interact with each other. The abutting fibers between the laminated and expanded cotton bodies are entangled and fused together to form a plate with a sponge structure as a whole, which is then molded or cut into the appropriate size and shape depending on the use, and is used as a core material for a mattress. It is made of cotton. Thus, the cotton core material of the present invention is used as a mattress by covering the entire cotton core material with a suitable outer fabric.

As mentioned above, the present invention uses a rolled cotton body made of various synthetic fibers that are extremely strong in elasticity, shrinkage, heat retention, and breathability mixed with fibers that can be heat-melted and bonded. Then, on the top and bottom sides, spread cotton bodies made of fibers such as cotton, wool, silk, etc., which have excellent moisture control properties, or various synthetic fibers mixed with fibers that can be heat-melted and bonded, are spread on the top and bottom sides. The three materials are placed in contact as a cotton body, and then heated at a high temperature to weld the individual fibers and the spread cotton body together, so that the entire core cotton is unified into a spongy shape. ,
It has excellent bulk, elasticity, heat retention, and breathability, mainly due to the action of the expanded cotton core, and does not sag even after long periods of use. Therefore, cotton is an ideal core material for a mattress that has excellent moisture control properties, which are essential requirements for a mattress, and has elasticity, bulk, and does not sag. This has the effect of being able to provide the product at a low cost.

Figure 1 is a partial cross-sectional view of a core expanded cotton body prepared by mixing one or more types of various synthetic fibers with fibers that can be heat-melted and bonded, and forming a rolled cotton body. Spread cotton by mixing fibers that can be melted and bonded with heat into any one of cotton, wool, and silk fibers, or a mixture of various synthetic fibers with any one of cotton, wool, silk, etc. Figure 3 is a partial cross-sectional view of the upper and lower expanded cotton bodies provided as a shape, and is similar to Figure 3 in Figures 1 and 2.
A part of the cotton core material of the mattress of this invention obtained by laminating expanded cotton bodies in contact with each other, heat-treating them, entangling and welding them, and integrating the three parts into a sponge-like shape. FIG. Number, 1... Middle core expanded cotton body, 2, 2... Top, bottom expanded cotton body.

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A cotton core material for a mattress consisting of a three-layer structure consisting of a bottom expanded cotton body 2, a middle core expanded cotton body 1, and an upper expanded cotton body 2; 1 and 2 are obtained as an integral structure in which they are entangled and fused together by heat treatment under set conditions, and the core expanded cotton body 1 has properties such as shrinkability, elasticity, heat retention, and breathability. Resin powder or fibers that can be melted and bonded by dry heat or steam heat to one type or a mixture of two or more types of various synthetic fibers that have strong characteristics.
It is obtained by spreading cotton mixed with 10 to 40% internal and external additives to an appropriate thickness using a cotton machine, and the bottom and top spread cotton bodies 2 and 2 are made of cotton, wool, and silk that have moisture control properties. Dry heat or Cotton core material for mattresses is obtained by mixing 10 to 40% of resin powder or fibers, which can be melted and bonded by steam heat, and spreading it to an appropriate thickness using a cotton mill.
