The amount of the carboxyl-modified silicone oil used in the oil-based ballpoint pen ink composition of the present invention is preferably 0.1 to 10.0% by weight based on the total amount of the composition. If less than 0.1%, the expected effect cannot be obtained, and 10
If it exceeds%, the performance as an oil-based ballpoint pen ink may be impaired. As the colorant used in the present invention, all dyes and / or pigments such as metal-containing dyes, basic dyes and nigrosine dyes used in conventional ballpoint pen inks can be used. Examples of the organic solvent used in the present invention include solvents conventionally used in ballpoint pen inks, such as benzyl alcohol, glycols and cellosolves. Examples of the resin used in the present invention include resins conventionally used in ballpoint pen inks, such as ketone resins, rosin-modified resins, sulfamide resins, malein resins, ester gums, xylene resins, alkyd resins, phenol resins, polyvinylpyrrolidone resins and the like. Can be used.

The writing quality of the ballpoint pen is determined by the magnitude of the friction between the ball and the ball seat, and it is considered that the blurring during writing is caused by the drying of the contact surface between the ball and the ball seat. Therefore, the carboxyl-modified silicone oil used in the present invention is added to the oil-based ballpoint pen ink to prevent the solvent component in the ink from volatilizing due to the intermolecular attractive force, allowing the ink to exist on the contact surface between the ball and the ball seat, and writing At the same time, the ink can be discharged smoothly, and at the same time, a smooth writing feeling can be obtained by the lubricating action of the carboxyl-modified silicone oil itself. Further, the ink composition of the present invention does not corrode the copper or copper alloy used in the ballpoint pen tip.
