Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a vehicular lamp having an air vent mechanism communicating-the inside of a lamp space with outside air to keep water out, have a good molding property and be formed at low cost. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical wall 7 is projected from a lamp body 2, and a partition 10 partitioning the inside of the cylindrical wall into upper and lower parts is formed, and the inside part 11 of the cylindrical wall above the partition is communicated with a lamp space 4, and a notch 9 open to the rear end is formed in the center of the lower part of the cylindrical wall. A cap 16 comprising a cylinder part 17 to be fitted over the cylindrical wall and a closed wall 18 covering the rear end of the cylinder part is fitted over the cylindrical wall in such a way that at least part of the notch is not covered. Thus the lamp space is communicated with the outside by a course from the upper part of the inside of the cylindrical wall to the portion between the rear end of the cylindrical wall and the closed wall of the cap to the lower part of the inside of the cylindrical wall to the notch.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a vehicular lamp of the present invention has a cylindrical wall projecting from a lamp body, and a partition wall for partitioning the inside of the cylindrical wall into upper and lower parts. ,
An upper portion of the partition wall inside the tubular wall is communicated with the lamp space, a notch having a rear end opened at the center of a lower portion of the tubular wall, and a tubular portion externally fitted to the tubular wall. A cap including a closing wall that covers the rear end of the tubular portion is fitted onto the tubular wall so as not to cover at least a part of the cutout, and thereby, the upper portion inside the tubular wall and the rear end of the tubular wall. The lamp space is communicated with the outside through a portion called a notch, a lower portion inside the tubular wall, and a closed wall of the cap.
