材の開口部に前記FPCの導電露出部を差し込み、この
開口部に嵌合されるとともに電気機器の雄端子を挿入し
て電気接続をはかるFPC用コネクタであって、前記F
PC用コネクタは、略4角形状をなす平板状のベース部
と、前記ベース部の対向する2辺から前記ベース部に対
して垂直方向に立ち上がる2組の向かい合う脚部と、前
記脚部から連続的にそれぞれ内方にかつ前記ベース部に
向けて折り返し形成されるとともに前記雄端子の外径よ
り幅広に形成され前記雄端子を挟圧する内部接続ガイド
と、前記内部接続ガイドから延設され外方に向かって折
り曲げ形成され前記2組の脚部間の寸法よりも幅狭に形
成された押圧部と、前記2組の脚部の間に位置しかつ前
記2組の脚部間の寸法よりも幅狭に形成されるとともに
前記ベース部に対して垂直方向に立設され前記雄端子の
挿入時に前記押圧部により外方に押圧される電気コンタ
クトとを設けたことを特徴とするFPC用コネクタ。
