Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】電気炉の電極ホルダーに保持された使用中
の上部電極の上端部に新しい上部電極の下端部をねじ込
んで接続する如くなした上部電極接続装置において、ク
レーンに吊り下げられる該装置本体に、新しい上部電極
を脱着可能なニップル部を回転駆動手段を介して回転自
在に設け、さらに新しい上部電極ねじ込み時の締め付け
トルクと装置本体離脱時のニップル部緩めトルクを別々
に設定可能とするために、回転駆動手段の供給電圧を切
り替える機器を有したことを特徴とする上部電極接続装
置。
1. An upper electrode connecting device for screwing and connecting a lower end of a new upper electrode to an upper end of a used upper electrode held by an electrode holder of an electric furnace, the device being suspended by a crane. A new upper electrode removable nipple part is rotatably provided on the main body via a rotation drive means, and a new tightening torque when screwing in the upper electrode and a loosening torque when the device main body is detached can be set separately. Therefore, the upper electrode connecting device is characterized by having a device for switching the supply voltage of the rotation driving means.
