うな方法によってゴキブリ類を捕獲、駆除するためには
多数のゴキブリを必要とし、虫糞の多量採取は極めて困
難で実際的ではない。またこのほかにも、ミリスチン
類、パルミチン酸等の脂肪酸のメチル又はエチルエステ
ル(特公昭44−320号公報)、飽和又は不飽和脂肪族ア
ルコール(特公昭44−11920号公報)、非還元性デンプ
ン加水分解(特開昭50−88235号公報)、シクロヘキシ
ル基を有するカルボン酸エステル(特開昭50−88234号
公報)、芳香を有する脂肪族ケトン、アルコール、アル
デヒド、ラクトン、エステル(特開昭50−49434、同50
−53540号公報)、アロエ植物および抽出液(特開昭61
−291505号公報)、ユーカリ葉あるいはその抽出成分、
炭素数7個ないし9個のケトン(特開昭62−114904号公
報)、バニリン、エチルバニリン、イソバニリン、ピペ
ロナール、ピペロナールアセトン、2,6−ノナジエナー
ル、2,6−ノナジエノール(特公昭54−11367号公報)、
カキツバタ種子油、アヤメ種子油、ノハナショウブ種子

が弱かったり、あるいは製造が困難な価格の高い物質で
あったりして、いずれも十分満足に実用に供し得るもの
はない。食物を利用するものとしては、ミルク、チー
ズ、オキアミ粉、粉末試料、フスマ、小麦粉、木粉ある
いはこれらの混合物(特開昭62−278930号公報)、ゼラ
チン、魚蛋白、カゼインなど動物性蛋白、動物肉、動物
肉エキス等の動物質、アルカリ、酵素等で加水分解した
抽出物とグルコース、フルクトースとの加熱反応生成物
(特開昭57−95904号公報)、大豆、とうもろこし、綿
実、なたね、ゴマ等穀類の脱脂粕を酸分解後、濃縮、中
和した組成物(特開昭53−15424号公報)、魚粉、小麦
粉、大豆油粕、米糠、飼料用酵母、ゴマ油粕の混合物

は変質しやすく、効果の持続期間に問題がある。

の幼虫、成虫の別、性別およびゴキブリ類の種類にかか
わりなく、共通して優れた効果を有し、特にチャバネゴ
キブリ幼虫に対しては極めて優れた効果を有することを
見出し、本発明を完成した。
