取扱い口を備えた媒体取扱い装置であって、上記媒体取
扱い口の内方底部位置に配設した受光素子と、上記受光
素子に向けて可視光線を照射し、この照射した可視光線
の照射部分を外方より視認許容するように配設した投光
素子とを備えた媒体取扱い装置。1. A medium handling device having a medium handling port for allowing a transaction medium to be taken in and out and temporarily stored therein, comprising: a light receiving element disposed at a bottom inner position of the medium handling port; and a light receiving element facing the light receiving element. And a projecting element which is arranged so as to permit visible irradiation of the irradiated visible light from the outside.
