Since the conventional vehicle-mounted meter device is constructed as described above, when the receiving antenna is connected to the rear glass antenna and provided separately from the keyless unit, the antenna is not provided. Good reception sensitivity can be secured without being affected by radio wave shielding by the vehicle body, but on the other hand, harnesses that connect the antenna and the keyless unit require expensive members such as shielded wires and shielded connectors, leading to increased costs. There was a point.

Reference numeral 26 is a wire-shaped loop antenna that is electrically connected to the keyless unit 30 and receives a radio signal transmitted by the portable key-integrated transmitter A, and is located on the periphery of the meter substrate 23. It is formed in a loop shape along. It goes without saying that the length of the loop path of the antenna 26 is determined according to the frequency of the carrier wave used. Further, although the description has been given assuming that the antenna 26 formed of a wire material such as a copper wire is used,
The meter board 23 is a flexible printed board,
It is of course possible to form the antenna as a copper foil pattern on the printed circuit board in an appropriate loop shape. Although the keyless unit 30 has been described as an example in this embodiment, a remote control engine starting device or the like may be provided integrally on the meter substrate 23, or as a separate body. That is, it is also possible to incorporate it as a separate substrate in any part of the lower housing 1.

Next, an operation example of the present invention will be described. Figure 2
When the portable transmitter A is operated from any direction outside the vehicle B toward the antenna 26 which is arranged near the window glass and is less affected by electromagnetic shielding by the metal body as shown in FIG. The transmitted radio signal is received by the receiving circuit of the keyless unit 30 via the antenna 26. The ID code in the received data received is decoded by a code decoding circuit (not shown), and the code decoding circuit determines whether or not the ID code matches a receiver-specific ID code registered in advance in the ID code memory. To be done.
Then, in accordance with the result of decoding by the code decoding circuit, various control circuits not shown start the engine of the vehicle, for example, in the case of a remote control engine starter, and lock the door in the case of a keyless unit. Open / close control is performed. In this case, since the antenna 26 is provided on the meter board 23 of the vehicle-mounted meter device located near the lower end of the windshield of the vehicle, it is easy to receive radio waves from the outside of the vehicle. Good reception sensitivity can be secured without being affected by radio wave shielding due to. Note that the vehicle-mounted meter device according to the present embodiment displays various indications such as speed, trip, etc., and displays the start of the engine or the open / closed state of the door lock, as in the prior art.

FIG. 6 is a vertical cross-sectional view showing a state in which the antenna 26 according to the embodiment of the present invention is arranged in a recess 32 formed in the peripheral portion of the lower housing 1, and FIG. 7 shows the recess 32 in FIG. 32 is a side view of the lower housing 1 facing the meter substrate 23 side and formed at a position corresponding to the antenna 26 provided on the meter substrate 23. The antenna 26 is inserted and locked. A groove-shaped concave portion formed so as to be possible is a solder for fixing the antenna 26 on the meter substrate 23. According to the present embodiment, since the antenna 26 can be inserted and locked by the recess 32, the dead corresponding to the height of the antenna 26 (corresponding to the diameter of the antenna 26) on the fixed surface of the meter substrate 23 and the lower housing 1. There is no space, and the whole can be made compact. Other configurations, operation examples, and effects are the same as in the case of the first embodiment, so description thereof will be omitted.

Example 6. FIG. 8 is a vertical sectional view showing a state in which the antenna 26 according to one embodiment of the present invention is wound plural times and provided in the recess 36 of the lower housing 1. FIG. 9 is a side view of the recess 36 in FIG. In the drawing, reference numeral 36 denotes a concave portion which is an outer peripheral edge of the lower housing 1 and is formed on the meter substrate 23 side so that the linear antenna 26 can be wound plural times. According to the present embodiment, since the antenna 26 can be wound plural times by the concave portion 36, the length of the loop path of the antenna 26 can be arbitrarily and easily ensured, and moreover, the fixed surface between the meter substrate 23 and the lower housing 1 can be secured. There is no dead space corresponding to the height of the antenna 26, and the entire structure can be made compact. Other configurations, operation examples, and effects are the same as in the case of the first embodiment, so description thereof will be omitted. Also, when the antenna is insert-molded in the meter housing, the same operational effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained.
