Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the inventory management at each stage of the distribution on-like management by preparing the slips of shipments and inventories, etc., automating the information exchange with a drink maker by a data communication network and performing the inventory management on the distribution route between a manufacture and consumers in real time. CONSTITUTION:A computer 7 is connected to a bar code reader 8 reading and inputting the data of bottled beverage and the bar code reader 8 reads the bar codes 2 to 6 imparted to a cap 1. Data processing is performed for the individual data of the bottle inputted from the bar code reader 8 by the computer 7, the slips of the shipment daily report and the inventory daily report, etc., are prepared and the slips are outputted to a printer 9. Further, by using the data communication network of a public line, data is transferred from a drink shop to the outside by the computer 7 an information exchange is automatically performed and the inventory management is performed in real time. Thus, the monitoring of the sales status and the inventory status at a drink shop is possible in real time and an efficient distribution can be performed.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, in the restaurant industry, the demands of customers have diversified and the contents thereof have become more sophisticated. In addition to this, the number of stores is increasing rapidly as a result of chain store development. Further, in parallel with such business development of mass and mass sales, it is necessary for the same management team to operate a high-class store that responds to the high-class orientation of customers.
It is necessary to manage a diverse group of stores at the same time, such as supplying relatively low-priced products to a large number of stores, handling high-priced products at a small number of stores, and having intermediate stores. .

In order to increase the quality of shops or increase the number of shops, it is necessary to handle a wide variety of bottled beverages at the same time. There are various kinds of bottled beverages such as juices, colas, beers, and sake. For example, taking beer as an example, it has conventionally been sufficient to prepare about one or two brands. For inventory management, it was possible to deal with the remaining quantity of bottles in the case by counting the number of clocks and placing an additional order when the quantity was insufficient.

According to the stock situation at each store, a person in charge orders the stock from one or a plurality of wholesalers by means such as a telephone and adjusts the stock. Further, the wholesaler who receives the order also ships according to the inventory, and at the same time, depending on the inventory state, places an order with another wholesaler or a beverage maker by means such as a telephone. The beverage manufacturer, which is the starting point of the distribution channel, will make production adjustments and inventory adjustments according to the order status from each wholesaler or a major food and beverage store that is directly purchased.

However, just by considering beer according to the above-mentioned example, several brands of more than one brand are released from one maker, and several types of each are produced depending on the capacity of the bottle. There is. It is not necessary to have all types of beer in one store, but the number of varieties handled will definitely increase. As described above, under the situation of handling a large number of small quantities, it is very difficult to thoroughly manage the inventory by checking the remaining number of cases in the conventional case. Insufficient management at food and beverage stores at the end of the distribution channel causes not only problems at that store but also at wholesalers and beverage manufacturers upstream in the distribution channel.

[0006] In the present situation where bottled beverages do not have effective inventory control means as described above, problems occur at each stage of food and drink shops, wholesalers and beverage manufacturers, which are the sites of consumption and sales. Since food service is given priority to serving bottled beverages at food and beverage stores, there is no room to keep a record of the delivery of goods. For this reason, the first-in, first-out, which is the basis of inventory management, becomes incomplete. In addition, inventory surveys are postponed, which results in omissions of surveys and leads to forgetting orders. Also for customers, problems such as customer troubles due to out of stock and forgetting to pay for beverages will occur. Forgetting to add beverage accounting
If the frequency increases, it will cause a sales loss at the store, which will lead to a decline in the profit margin of the store, which will be a serious problem that will lead to a deterioration in business performance.

[0007] In the wholesaler, since the transfer between the food and drink store and the beverage maker is carried out by a person, the ordering and ordering work is concentrated, and when the number of items is too large, the clerical work of preparing documents becomes complicated and a contact error occurs. Increase in frequency. As a result, delivery mistakes, inconsistencies in the number of empty bottles, and the like occur, and most of the work time is spent investigating and responding to such cases, which makes the work inefficient.

[0008] The beverage maker always finishes the work of shipping the product in response to the order from the wholesaler. As a result, the actual sales quantity becomes unclear, making it difficult to grasp the actual inventory quantity. In addition to this, the designation of brands is also fluid and it is difficult to formulate a manufacturing plan, and manufacturing activities will continue without knowing the true distribution turnover rate.

In the bottled beverage stock management system of the present invention having the above-described structure, the bar code is read when the bottled beverage is opened, and the individual data of the opened bottle is input to the computer. Thereby, the bottle serial number, the company name, the product name, the content amount, the manufacturing period, etc. of the bottled beverage actually consumed at the food and beverage store are input to the computer in real time. Data is stored in a computer, and as a result of the totaling work, a daily delivery / monthly report and a daily inventory / monthly report are created and used for inventory management at restaurants. When a sales confirmation signal is given to this computer from a store register and a bottled beverage whose sales have not been confirmed is opened, both a warning and a display on the computer display generate a warning to forget accounting. To do. As a result, it is possible to prevent the charges of the food and drink shops from being charged.

Further, this data is sent to a wholesaler and a beverage maker using a computer and a public line. At the wholesaler, daily sales and monthly reports are created for each item handled and for each customer, which is the basis for inventory management and adjustment. Beverage makers also use it for inventory control and production control. Since the computers of the food and drink store, wholesaler, and beverage maker are connected to each other via the public line, it is possible to check the inventory status of each other via the computer.

In the bottled beverage inventory management system of FIG.
Computers that manage the stocks of food and drink shops, wholesalers, and beverage manufacturers are online via public lines. Therefore, it becomes possible to manage information exchange very flexibly. For example, it becomes possible for large food and drink shops to purchase directly from a beverage manufacturer without going through a wholesaler. Further, it is possible for a wholesaler to monitor the stock situation of food and drink stores at any time and make business contact with the sales contact when the stock amount decreases. Furthermore, it is possible to create and add a function to automatically place an order when the stock quantity drops below a certain quantity. Another advantage is that restaurants, wholesalers, and beverage manufacturers can mutually understand the consumption status and inventory status of beverages, and can constantly obtain guidelines for optimizing the production volume and inventory volume. As described above, according to the present invention, by acquiring the data when the bottled beverage is opened, it is possible to determine the sales status and the stock status in the food and beverage store based on the actual consumption of the bottled beverage. It enables real-time monitoring, mechanizes work such as form creation and ordering work, speeds up response, and improves work certainty. Further, by communicating signals with the register of the store, it becomes an effective system for preventing forgetting to put the accounting at the store and maintaining an appropriate profit margin of the store.
