Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration in function of a filter, generate no connection failure in assembly and reduce production cost in a connector with built-in filter which prevents invasion of obstruction electric waves from the outside of an apparatus and remove unnecessary waves generated on the inside of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A terminal 2 is brought into contact with a an electrode on one side of a capacitor 4 having electrodes having the same shape on both sides, and a tongue piece 3b having elasticity formed in an earth plate 3 is elastically pressed against the other electrode to interpose and conduct. By this constitution, stress caused by heat stress is relaxed, and damage of a capacitor 4 and its connecting part is eliminated. A general purpose capacitor with no polarity and low cost can be used as the capacitor 4, no connection failure is generated in assembly, and workability is enhanced.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional configuration, the capacitor 14 has the upper surface electrode 14b and the lower surface electrode 14c, and is a directional and expensive custom product, and the capacitor 14 is not manufactured at the time of manufacturing and assembling. There is a problem that a step of selecting the upper and lower parts is required and a connection failure occurs due to a selection error. Further, since high heat at the time of soldering is directly transmitted to the housing 11, the housing 11 requires an expensive heat-resistant resin material. Furthermore, due to the heat load applied at the time of soldering and after being mounted on various devices, a difference in contraction occurs between the housing 11 and the ground plate 13 due to a difference in coefficient of thermal expansion, and stress is applied to the capacitor 14 and its connecting portion. Since shear stress and compressive stress are applied to the capacitor 14 and the capacitor 14, if stress due to heat load is repeated, Sometimes 15 or capacitor 14 is broken, it caused the characteristic failure or disconnection state, the filter function has a problem that significantly deteriorated.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, terminals 2 are press-fitted and held in terminal holes 1b formed at a predetermined pitch in an intermediate partition plate 1a provided in a housing 1 made of a substantially box-shaped insulator. After that, the ground plate 3 is mounted on the partition plate 1a.
The ground plate 3 has holes 3a through which the terminals 2 are individually inserted in a non-contact manner, and an electrode on one side of a disk-shaped capacitor (hereinafter referred to as a capacitor) 4 is elastically pressed in proximity to the holes 3a to obtain conduction. A tongue piece 3b having is formed for each terminal 2.

As described above, according to this embodiment, the stress caused by the contraction difference due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the housing and the ground plate due to the heat load is not relieved by the elasticity of the tongue and is not applied to the capacitor. The capacitor is not damaged and can be highly reliable.

Further, when fixed by soldering connection or connection using conductive paste, the elastic tongue piece 3b provided on the ground plate 3 has elasticity in the pitch direction of the terminals at the same time. Even when a load is applied, the stress caused by the difference in contraction due to the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion between the housing 1 and the ground plate 3 can be alleviated.
