Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a pattern which consists of multicolors incapable of being expressed by printing and is abundant in variations of color with one plate by a method wherein a masking film is printed by silk screen printing, and coloring is entrusted to other means such as brushing, spraying, etc. CONSTITUTION: After printing a masking film on a surface to be printed by silk screen printing, the masking film of a colored part is peeled off, and the colored part is drawn by a writing brush, spraying, etc., while the color is being varied. In a midway process, the masking film is reproduced by printing as occasion demands. The masking film is further peeled off again, and coloring is carried out. A series of operation is repeated a plurality of times, and coloring of all colors is completed.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an improved intuition method using a photosensitive resin film among silk screen printing methods. Printing is used only as a means for forming a masking film, and coloring is not performed. A new application method is provided for printing purposes by forming a pattern surface with various expressions that could not be expressed by printing by using other means such as a brush or spraying.

2. Description of the Related Art Silk screen printing methods include a direct method using a film and an intuition method and a cutting method using a photosensitive resin film. The changes had to be subdivided and the editions increased according to the number of subdivisions. Even with such a method, it was not possible to sufficiently express the change in shade of color. Further, the photolithography method, that is, the intuition method using the photosensitive resin film can reproduce the expression close to the original image, but the production of the original image requires more labor and skill than the printing work. In the multi-color silk screen printing method (Japanese Patent Publication No. 4-216092) that uses the cutting method, after printing the specified color of the ink permeation holes on the screen, the resin is partially blocked to change the condition of the screen permeation holes. Then, it is a method of applying overprinting again with the changed plate to change the monotonous color surface, but it was not easy to try to change the shade of the color more subtly.

In silk screen printing, it is not possible to freely change the ratio of colors vertically and horizontally while mixing two colors. Therefore, it was difficult to express shadows and subtle changes in color like paintings, and the result was a flat finish. In order to produce a design with added value, it is necessary to be able to express a wide variety of things such as faint colors and changes in shades of colors, and to be able to handle various expressions. In the conventional method, simply dividing the color of the pattern into small pieces, producing many plates, and trying to solve it with multicolor printing will require a lot of labor, not only will the cost be high, but also with such a method But I couldn't express enough with printing.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention uses silk screen printing not as a printing purpose for ink but as a printing means for a masking film. The intuition method of using a photosensitive resin film in the silk screen printing method is used. When printing ink, a positive film is made, but when printing a masking film, a negative film is made. The masking film is separated by color and is separated by a border so that each color can be peeled off. After the masking film has been printed on the surface to be printed, the portion of the masking film to be colored is peeled off from the surface to be printed and colored. Similarly, for other colors, the masking film is peeled off and colored. When this operation is repeated, the portion where the masking film has been peeled off and the coloring has been completed and the portion where the masking film is to be peeled off and the coloring is about to be adjacent to each other. Naturally, if the surroundings of the colored portion are not surrounded by a masking film, the paint will squeeze out during coloring and the color will adhere to the already colored portion. Before such a situation occurs, a masking film must be printed at the same position on the surface to be printed with the same plate and the same position. Then, the masking film is peeled off again for coloring. All coloring is completed by repeating such a series of operations. To remove the masking film, there is a method of pinching it with tweezers and peeling it off, and a method of adhering the tape to the masking film using an adhesive tape, and then pulling it up to remove the film.
The masking film must use a resin that is easily peeled off from the surface to be printed. As the resin used here, an oil resistant resin such as polyvinyl alcohol is used when the colored paint is oily, and a water resistant resin is used when the colored paint is aqueous. Coloring can be done with a brush, brush, sponge-like mottled surface with paint and lightly touching it, coloring with a paint roller, spray gun or hand. There is a known method such as spraying and coloring with a piece, and coloring is performed by selecting a method that best suits the purpose of expressing the design. By freely selecting the coloring means in this way, it is possible to produce a pattern composed of multiple colors and rich in color variations.

In the present invention, since the masking film is manufactured by the same procedure as the silk screen printing, the masking film is formed on the object to be printed with high accuracy. Further, since the masking film separated by the boundary can be peeled off from the printing medium and several colors can be colored, it is possible to perform multicolor coloring with the same plate.
Since the masking film is printed, the color can be changed and restored easily.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described with reference to the drawings in an embodiment. FIG. 1 is a front view of a document having a pattern, which is separated by a color. This manuscript is used as a negative film and is printed on a silk screen. Fig. 2 is a front view of the printing surface of this plate that is coated with oil-resistant resin that serves as a masking film. A masking film separated by ruled lines is applied to the entire surface to be printed. Fig. 3 is a front view of the state where the masking film in part 2 is peeled off from the printed surface. Fig. 4 shows a state where the part 2 is sprayed with a handpiece. I want the pattern to have a three-dimensional effect, so the right side of 2 is darkened, the right side is brightened, and the shade is also irregularly darkened at the bottom. Next, I want to color the large and small ellipses, but since it is adjacent to the already colored 2 part, the masking film must be applied to 2 part again. FIG. 5 is a front view of the state shown in FIG. 4 in which a masking film is applied again by printing at the same position, and the masking film is newly applied to the portion 2 as well. In this embodiment, since the border line is drawn with a thick ruled line, the colored portion can be seen from the portion not hidden by the masking film. Coloring in such a ruled line is determined by the last colored color, so the coloring procedure must be considered in advance. In addition, it is necessary to devise to make the border line for each coloring as thin as possible. Since the ruled line portion is colored after all the coloring of the design drawn with the ruled lines is completed, the above problem does not occur. FIG. 6 shows a large image after the masking film is applied again.
It is a front view of the state where the small elliptical film is peeled off and sprayed with a handpiece for coloring. Figure 7 is a front view showing the state where the above process is repeated multiple times and the entire surface is colored.
The background of 4 has some shades of color, scribbled with a brush, and the touch of the brush is left. After regenerating the masking film, part 3 is drawn with a brush without removing the masking film.
Here, an oil-based paint was used, and polyvinyl alcohol, which is an oil-resistant resin, was used as the resin for the masking film.

According to the present invention, a pattern composed of multiple colors and rich in color changes can be formed by the same plate without replacing a large number of plates, and since the plates are not replaced, an accurate pattern in which printing deviation does not occur can be obtained. Can be expressed. If you have silk screen printing equipment, you can do it easily, and because the masking film is printed, it is easy to regenerate, and you can easily change or correct the color after completion. In addition, the usage of silk screen printing is used for printing conventional inks as well as for printing masking films, expanding the range of applications. On the other hand, from the side of making a pattern by masking, the printing method can be used as a masking method, and it is considered to be a completely different method until now because a masking film with high accuracy and easy reproduction can be obtained. Now that we have found a point of contact between the expression method using printing and the expression method using masking, we can expect new ways to express various designs.
