できかつ止水性も十分なマンホールの下水管取付部のシ

5を注入し該ゴムチューブ4を膨らましてシールするよ

説明する。図6に示す如くコンクリート製のマンホール
1は、地下に配設された塩化ビニール製の下水管2の中
途に所定間隔で設置されている。図1に示す符号1aは
マンホール1の側壁で、取付孔3を明けている。この取
付孔3に下水管2が挿入されて取付けられるのに先立
ち、図2に示すようなリング状のゴムチューブ4が下水
管2の外周にはめられ、その後図1に示す如く断面偏平
状のゴムチューブ4と一緒に下水管2が取付孔3に挿入
される。このゴムチューブ4の材質は天然ゴム、ブチル
ゴム、EPDM(エチレン・プロピレン・ジエン共重合
ゴム)、CR(クロロプレンゴム)等が考えられるが、

填物5で膨らんだゴムチューブ4の支持力が大きいため
施工時の偏心やばらつきが十分に吸収される。なお、充

来のガスケットと異なり施工時の偏心やばらつきを十分
吸収できて施工作業が容易となり、また止水性が向上す

構造において、上記下水管の外周にリング状のゴムチュ
ーブをはめると共に該下水管を上記マンホール側壁に明
けた取付孔に挿入した後、上記ゴムチューブ内に充填物
を注入し該ゴムチューブを膨らましてシールするように
したことを特徴とするマンホール下水管取付部のシール
構造。1.
