For example, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the foam sealer 1
Is used for sealing a gap 4 between a roof (upper plate) 2 and a sunroof housing (lower plate) 3 of an automobile body, and is in an unfoamed state at a predetermined position in the gap 4 in a sheet metal assembling process. And is foamed and cured when heated in the coating drying furnace in the subsequent electrodeposition coating process, and the gap 4 is formed.
By increasing the volume inside, the gap 4 between the roof 2 and the sunroof housing 3 is closed to prevent dust and water from entering from the outside.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the case of the above-described conventional foam sealer 1, a high foam sealer having a high expansion ratio is used in order to significantly increase the volume and surely close the gap 4. Therefore, since the foamed sealer 1 after being foamed by heating has a large number of large bubbles formed therein, it is easy for water to be contained in the bubbles, and as a result, the roof in contact with the foamed sealer 1 containing water. 2 and the steel sheets such as the sunroof housing 3 may be corroded.

Means for Solving the Problems As a means for solving the above problems, the present invention is arranged in a predetermined position such as a joining portion requiring a seal in an unfoamed state, and foamed after coating to form a seal. In the foam sealer to be performed, the part of the surface of the unfoamed high foam sealer that comes into contact with the part to be sealed is covered with the non-foam sealer or the low foam sealer, and the side edge of the non-foam sealer or the low foam sealer. It is characterized in that the portion is formed in a tapered shape that is thinnest in the outer side portion, and the side portion of the high foam sealer is formed in close contact with the tapered surface.

By configuring as described above, this unfoamed foam sealer comes into contact with the steel plate of the portion of the surface of the foam sealer where the portion covered with the non-foam sealer or the low foam sealer is sealed or Arrange to face each other.
And when it is foamed by heating after coating, etc., the high foam sealer part foams and fills the gap,
A non-foaming sealer or a low-foaming sealer is in close contact with the steel plate portion to be sealed, completely closing the gap to prevent dust and water from entering from the outside, and a non-foaming sealer or a low foaming sealer that does not easily contain water in the portion in contact with the steel plate. Since the foam sealer is provided, rusting of the foam sealer contact portion is prevented. Further, both sides of the non-foaming sealer or the low-foaming sealer are formed in a thin taper shape on the outer side, and the side portions of the high-foaming sealer are formed in close contact with the tapered surface. , The high-foam sealer in the portion closely adhered to the tapered surface foams to cover the boundary portion between the outer edge of the non-foam sealer or the low-foam sealer and the coated surface of the steel plate, and the adhered water is likely to remain. Prevents rusting of parts.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show an embodiment of the present invention. A foam sealer 21 comprises a high foam sealer 22 and a thin plate-like non-foaming material which is in close contact with both sides of the high foam sealer 22 so as to sandwich the high foam sealer 22. The high foam sealer 2 is formed from the sealers 23, 23 and
The composition of 2 consists of 30% by weight of butadiene rubber, 20% by weight of process oil, 45% by weight of calcium carbonate and 5% by weight of vulcanizing and curing agent. And the non-foaming sealer
23 has a thickness of 1 mm and is provided with tapered portions 23a, 23a on both sides to thin the both side edges to form a trapezoidal cross section with an enlarged outer side, and the high-foam sealer 22 has a thickness of a central portion. The taper part 23 of the non-foaming sealer 23 is formed on both sides while being molded to 8 mm.
Tapered parts 22a, 22a that become thicker toward the outside according to the inclination of a, 23a
The upper and lower surfaces of the high-foam sealer 22 are integrally adhered to the non-foaming sealers 23, 23 having a trapezoidal cross section, and a tape-shaped foam sealer having a rectangular cross section and a thickness of 10 mm and a width of 10 mm as a whole.

The foam sealer 21 configured as described above is placed in the gap between the two steel plates S, S separated from each other, and after electrodeposition coating is performed, the coated surface P is heated and dried in a drying furnace. The heat generated at this time is used to foam and fill the space between the steel plates S, S to close the gap. At this time, the high-foam sealer 22 of the foam sealer 21
Is expanded in the directions of the upper and lower steel plates S, S and in the width direction and expanded to both sides (see FIG. 3). The boundary B between the foam sealer 21 which is the most rusty part and the painted surface P
This portion is covered from above the painted surface P to prevent water from entering the boundary B portion (see FIG. 4). Therefore, the foam sealer 21 of the present embodiment has the steel plate S at the sealer contact portion.
In addition to preventing corrosion, the amount of sealer required can be significantly reduced compared to the case where only the non-foaming sealer 23 is used for sealing, and the weight and cost can be reduced. By mitigating the impact and the like, it is possible to prevent peeling of the adhesive portion between the steel plate S and the foam sealer 21 and effectively prevent intrusion of dust and water from the outside world. Furthermore, the high-foam sealer 22 expands and expands.
Since the boundary B between the paint surface 21 and the coating surface 21 is covered, it is possible to effectively prevent the generation of rust at the boundary B portion between the foam sealer 21 and the coating, which easily rusts.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION As described above, the present invention is a foam sealer which is disposed in a predetermined position such as a joint portion requiring a seal in an unfoamed state, and is foamed after coating to perform sealing. By covering the part of the surface of the foam sealer that comes into contact with the part to be sealed with a non-foaming sealer or a low foaming sealer, the edges of the non-foaming sealer or the low foaming sealer are formed in a tapered shape. Since the high-foam sealer expands and covers the boundary between the foam sealer and the paint, the boundary between the foam sealer and the paint surface, where rust is likely to occur, is effectively sealed and a reliable rust prevention treatment is applied.
