However, in the siding joint seal using only the caulking material, if the caulking material is improperly constructed or changes with time, the waterproof performance is extremely deteriorated and the joint sealing cannot be performed. In addition, since the joint gap is filled only with the caulking material, a large amount of caulking material is used, which deteriorates workability and increases costs. Further, since the joint is dented due to the thinning of the caulking material, there is a problem that the appearance is impaired.

The present invention has a double structure in which not only caulking material but also bottom joint material is added to a siding joint seal for blocking joints formed between a plurality of sidings attached to the outer wall of a building, so that the caulking material should have a double structure. It was made paying attention to the fact that the above-mentioned object can be achieved by the waterproof power of the bottom joint material even if the waterproof performance is deteriorated.

According to this embodiment, the joints between the sidings 15 are
Not only the urethane caulking material 17 but also the bottom joint material 13 that seals between the siding 15 with the butyl sealer 20 has a double structure for the 16 seals. Even if occurs, the bottom joint material 13 does not cause an extreme decrease in waterproof performance. At this time, since the bottom joint material 13 and the caulking material 17 are subjected to a mold release treatment with silicone or the like, the bottom joint material 13 is not affected by the temporal change of the caulking material 17 or the like.

On the other hand, since the bottom joint material 13 also serves as a backup material, it is possible to reduce the amount of the urethane caulking material 17 used.
The workability is improved and the cost is reduced. Further, the dent of the joint 16 due to the thinning of the urethane caulking material 17 is improved, and the appearance is not impaired.

Further, the joint portion 18A of the hard member 18 is cut into the joint portion 19A of the elastic member 19.
The elastic member 19 can be easily positioned by simply fitting the elastic member 19 to the elastic member 19 because the joint core 18A is hard.
Even if a force is applied to the elastic member 19, the elastic member 19 can be reliably positioned. This makes it possible to secure a neat fit as a whole.

In the above embodiment, the elastic member 19 of the bottom joint material 13 is made of EPDM.
Although a sponge is used, the material is not limited to this material, and other elastic members such as chloroprene rubber (CR) and silicone rubber may be used. Further, although the hard member 18 is a vinyl chloride molded product, other resin such as nylon, metal material such as aluminum, or other hard member may be used. Also, the caulking material 17 is not limited to urethane.

According to the present invention as described above, even if the caulking material is poorly constructed or aged, the waterproof performance is not impaired. Further, since the bottom joint material is composed of the hard member having the joint core and the elastic member, there is an effect that the elastic member can be surely positioned by the joint core and a neat fit can be secured.
