Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correspond with sealing compound even if variations in the width of a joint are large by having an opposed piece to deform a bent main body in the closing direction when the sealing compound is loaded to the joint. SOLUTION: A main body 1 is formed of a proper spring material and is provided with an opposed piece to form the main body by bending a section in a V-shape. The main body 1 is energized in the direction opening between the opening ends. When the opposed piece is loaded to a joint, the opposed piece is movable in the opening and closing direction, and it brings sealing compound into contact whit a wall surface. A bridge member 2 is bridged between the opening ends of the main body 1, and the end thereof is fixed to the end of the main body 1 by means of caulking. When it is loaded to the joint, the sealing compound 3 is pushed against the wall surface by spring force of the main body 1. Since the main body 1 has a V-shaped section, the sealing compound can correspond with any joint even if there are variation in gaps of the joint.

However, in the conventional joint material as described above, since the decorative portion 11 does not have watertightness, water penetrates into the gap (joint) between the panels P and P. The invading water is stopped by the seal portions 13 and 14, so that the space between the decorative portion 11 and the seal portion 13 and the seal portion 1
There is a problem that water is collected between 3 and 14 and the seal portions 13 and 14 become gutters, so that the side surface of the unpainted outer wall absorbs water, causing mold, and leaking water to the back surface of the outer wall.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances and can be applied even if there is a large variation in joint width, and since the sealing material is constantly pressed against the wall surface, it is always airtight and watertight. It is intended to provide a joint material that is retained and does not cause mold or leak due to the side surface of the outer wall absorbing rainwater and the like.

The main body 1 is made of a spring material composed of one or several kinds of metal, synthetic resin, natural or synthetic rubber, or ceramic, and is urged in a direction to open between the open end portions. Although the main body 1 of this example has a V-shaped cross section, it may have a U-shaped cross section or a modified W-shaped or V-shaped or U-shaped cross section. The point is that when the facing piece is inserted into the joint, the facing piece can be moved in the opening / closing direction, and the sealing material 3 abuts on the wall surface. , As shown in FIG.

The bridging member 2 is bridged between the open ends of the main body 1, and the ends are firmly fixed to the end of the main body 1. In this example, the end of the bridging member 2 is caulked to the open end of the main body 1. Since the bridging member 2 is located on the surface side when it is attached to the joint, it is formed in various colors and patterns according to the wall surface.

The waterproof sealing material 3 may be synthetic rubber, natural rubber, vinyl chloride, olefin, urethane elastomer or foam. In this example, the waterproof sealing material 3 is provided all over the outside of the main body 1, but it may be provided not only on the outside but only on the portion that comes into contact with the wall surface when attached to the joint. However, it is preferable that the sealing member 3 is provided over the entire outside of the main body 1 as in this example, because the sealing material 3 does not separate from the main body 1 when it is attached to a joint.

When the sealant 3 is attached to the joint as shown in FIGS. 1B and 1C, the sealing material 3 is pressed against the wall surface by the spring force of the main body 1 and the joint is tightly sealed,
Moreover, the outside of the joint is made up with the bridging member 2. Since the main body 1 has a V-shaped cross section, it can handle all variations in the joint gap. FIG. 1B shows the case where the joint is wide, and FIG. 1C shows the case where the joint is narrow.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing another embodiment (a).
It is sectional drawing (b) which shows the use condition. In this example, the bridging member 2 is provided so as to surround the main body 1, and the other points are the same as in the above-described embodiment. When the bridging member 2 is provided so as to surround the main body 1 as in this example, the bridging member 2 does not separate from the main body 1 and is strong, and the manufacturing is easy.

As shown in FIG. 3B, this joint material is adhered to the end surface of the lower panel P 1 by using the adhesive member 4, and then the upper panel P 2 is abutted from above. To adhere to the joint between panels P 1 and P 2 . As described above, the present embodiment is characterized in that it can be applied simultaneously with the mounting of the panel, instead of mounting it on the joint formed in advance. Although this example has been described for the case where the joint is attached to the horizontal joint, it goes without saying that this may be the vertical joint.

Further, in the joint material of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, one end in the longitudinal direction of the main body 1 is extended with a bridging member 2 bridging the opening end surface of the main body 1 in an eaves-like shape and the end surface is The waterproof sealing material 3 may be provided on the closed 2b and the closed 2b, and the end surface may be closed 2c on the other end, and the waterproof sealing material 3 may be provided on the closed 2c.
In this way, when joining the joint material with each other, the eave-shaped extending portion 2a of the bridging member covers the joint portion, and the sealing material 3 is abutted and joined, so that the watertightness is surely secured. To be done.

As described in detail above, when the jointing material of the present invention is attached to the joint, the jointed body is deformed in the closing direction of the bent body having the facing piece, for example, the body having a U-shaped or V-shaped cross section. Therefore, even if there is a large variation in the joint width, it is possible to handle easily and it is possible to construct. Further, since the main body, the bridging member, or both are formed of the spring material, the sealing material is pressed against the wall surface by the repulsive force due to the deformation of the spring material, and the airtightness and the watertightness are always maintained. Further, since the sealing material is positioned near the outer wall surface and seals, the outer wall side surface is prevented from absorbing rainwater or the like to cause mold or leak. Further, the main body and the bridging member have followability, and even if the main body is deformed, the bridging member is also deformed, so that the appearance is maintained. Further, in the case of having a waterproof adhesive member, since it can be attached to one of the side surfaces of the outer wall panel in advance, scaffolding is not required and the outer wall panel can be constructed and joint material can be constructed at the same time. Furthermore, when the reinforcing material is embedded in the main body, the joint material is prevented from expanding and contracting due to temperature change.
