トモドキ)、ノシメコクガ等の貯穀害虫が大量に発生
し、精米歩留を著しく悪くしている重大な問題を有して
る。従来このような貯穀害虫の防除には、クロルピクリ
ン(許容濃度0.1ppm)、リン化水素(許容濃度0.3pp
m)、臭化メチル(許容濃度5ppm)などの殺虫剤が用い
られているが、人体への有害性の点で問題を有してい
る。
