この考案は、水切りが良くガラス面に水の円弧が残らないワイパーゴムに関す るものである。

【従来の技術】
従来よりワイパーゴムはあった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
これは次のような欠点があった。 （イ）ワイパーを作動させた時に、ワイパーの軌道上の外側の円弧上にワイパ ーの作用によって端にまとめられた水滴が水の筋になり、流れ落ちてきた。

【考案が解決するための手段】
ワイパーゴム（３）に水をためておくゴム板（１），（２）を設けた。 なお、ゴム板（１）はワイパー作動時には外円になるのでワイパーゴム（３） と同じ高さにし、ゴム板（２）はワイパー作動時には内円になるのでワイパーゴ ム（３）よりも少しだけ低くした。この事は水の表面張力を利用したもので、ガ ラス面につかなくても水を切るこどができることによる。ゴム板（１）はワイパ ー作動時には外円になるので完全に水の流出を防ぐ為にガラス面につくようにし た。
