2. Description of the Related Art When manufacturing products such as films and sheets with plastics such as polyvinyl chloride, the raw material powder is mixed with a viscous plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate and the like and the material is kneaded into a paste and heated. It is being processed. At this time, the kneaded plasticizer is heated to become extremely fine mist-like submicron particles and is discharged from the material. Therefore, the plasticizer is discharged to the outside of the factory through a ventilation duct. Since the plasticizer that has become submicron particles has a very large specific surface area, if it is released into the atmosphere as it is, even a small amount of plasticizer becomes white smoke, which causes a problem as visible pollution. For this reason, an electric dust collector for removing the plasticizer is provided in the ventilation duct line.

FIG. 5 shows such a conventional electrostatic precipitator. Plasticizer 1 released as mist from the material
The exhaust gas 102 containing 01 is sent to the dust collecting chamber 23 of the main body tower 21 through the ventilation duct 22, and is passed between the discharge electrode and the dust collecting electrode to which the high voltage is applied by the high voltage power supply 24, The plasticizer 101 in the exhaust gas 102 is charged and collected by the Coulomb force in the dust collecting electrode. The collected plasticizer 101 flows down on the dust collecting extreme, is accumulated in the collecting chamber 25, and is collected from the drain 26. On the other hand, the exhaust air 102 from which the plasticizer 101 has been removed is discharged to the outside from the exhaust pipe 27 by the delivery fan 28.

At the time of collecting the plasticizer 101, not only the plasticizer 101 but also the raw material powder mixed in the exhaust gas 102 is electrically charged and collected by the dust collecting electrode and the discharge electrode. The raw material powder collected on the dust collecting electrode or the discharge electrode is the plasticizer 10
In some cases, the viscosity of No. 1 makes it easy to stick and deposit on these electrode plates, reduce the charging effect by the electrode plates, and significantly deteriorate the dust collecting ability. Therefore, the cleaning water 103 is directed from above the dust collecting chamber 21 toward the electrode plate to the nozzle 2
9 to spray these electrode plates on a regular basis. In addition, in order to improve the cleaning effect, the cleaning water 103
In some cases, the surface active agent 104 may be added for cleaning.

However, since the plasticizer 101 is viscous and water-insoluble, the raw material powder adhered and deposited on the electrode plate by the plasticizer 101 is thoroughly washed off with the washing water 103. Takes a very long time, the work efficiency is very poor, and the electrode plate may be worn. Also, wash water 103
Although the cleaning time can be shortened to some extent if the surface active agent 104 is added to the cleaning solution, the corrosion of the electrode plate is likely to be promoted, which may rather deteriorate the electrode plate.

Then, a plasticizer 10 is placed on the discharge electrode and the dust collecting electrode.
In order to wash the raw material powder and the like that are fixed and accumulated in step 1, the following procedure may be performed. That is, the cleaning liquid 1 in the storage tank 9
05 is sprayed from the electrode plate cleaning nozzle 12 to the discharge electrode and the dust collecting electrode by the delivery pump 10 through the delivery pipe 11.
As a result, the raw material powder and the like on which the plasticizer 101 is fixed as a binder on these electrode plates are easily softened by the same cleaning liquid 105 as the plasticizer 101 and washed away from the electrode plates, and the plasticizer 101 is transferred to the recovery chamber 5. The cleaning liquid 105, raw material powder, etc. are collected. Therefore, the electrode plate is easily cleaned without being deteriorated or corroded.
