Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation by covering an outer circumferential part of an external electrode and an outer circumferential face of a filter main body with a protection film so as to enhance the adhesive strength of an external electrode. CONSTITUTION:An inner electrode 1 used to form the filter is provided between dielectric bodies 3, 4 and between dielectric bodies 4, 5 among the dielectric bodies 2-6 made of a bismuth niobate, and a shield electrode 8 is provided between the dielectric bodies 2, 3 and between the dielectric bodies 5, 6. A protection film 10 covering almost the entire circumference of the film main body 1 is made of a silicon polymer. 【実施例】図1において1はフィルタ本体で図2に示す
ニオブ酸ビスマスよりなる5つの誘電体2〜6を積層し
て形成している。これらの誘電体3と4、4と5の間に

が設けられている。シールド電極8と一部の内部電極7
の端部はフィルタ本体1の図1,図2における前面側の

外部電極9は下層側の銀電極9aと中層のニッケルメッ
キ電極と上層側のハンダメッキ電極の三層構造よりな
る。図1における10はフィルタ本体のほぼ全周を覆っ
た保護膜で、シリコンの重合体で作られている。外部電
極9の最下層の銀電極9aの外周部は図1に示す如く保
護膜10で覆われ、この保護膜10で覆われていない内
方の銀電極9a部分上に上述したニッケルメッキ電極と
ハンダメッキ電極9bが積層されて外部電極9が構成さ
れている。この外部電極9の形成において下層の銀電極
9aの外周部は保護膜10で覆われているので、その上
にニッケルメッキ電極とハンダメッキ電極9bを積層す
るためのメッキ工程において、メッキ液がこの銀電極9
aの外周部とフィルタ本体1のすきまから浸入して銀電
極9aを剥離させてしまうことがない。従ってその上側
にニッケルメッキ電極とハンダメッキ電極9bを積層し
た外部電極9の剥離もおきなくなるのである。なおフィ
ルタ本体1上の保護膜10は、塗布後、焼き付けられて
おり、また外部電極9の銀電極9aも焼き付けられてお
り、さらに内部電極7やシールド電極8は誘電体2〜6
とともに焼成されている。
