(Prior Art) Conventionally, as this type of sheet, a chemical holding sheet for controlling termites, for example, sheets described in JP-A-58-142927 and JP-A-59-18822 are known. There is. These chemical-holding sheets are generally formed into a sheet by encapsulating a resin such as vinyl chloride, which is impermeable to water and has extremely low air permeability, with an anti-termite agent, and is laid on the soil surface without any gaps. By doing so, the termites can be prevented from invading the foundation or the like from the soil.

Therefore, it is necessary to lay the conventional chemical holding sheet on the soil surface completely without any gaps, and if there is a slight gap between the seams between the sheets and the seams between the sheets and the concrete cloth foundation, slabs, etc. White termites intrude from there, and even if a slight breakage occurs on the sheet surface, they intrude from here and cause great damage to the wood structure. Therefore, conventionally, there has been a problem that careful attention and a great deal of labor are required during the construction of the sheet so as not to cause such a gap or damage.

As the agent in the present invention, known wood preservatives, bactericides, insect repellents and the like can be used, but those which are soluble in water are preferable. If it is difficult to dissolve in water, it must be emulsifiable or dispersible in water. In this case, it can be used as a composition containing an appropriate emulsifier or dispersant. Alternatively, they may be encapsulated in microcapsules or the like and dispersed, and the leaching or dissolution rate can be controlled by such means.

The aqueous composition thus obtained is applied onto a flat base material, dried and formed into a sheet, and in order to reinforce the obtained sheet, a water-permeable sheet body such as paper or woven cloth is provided on the base material. Alternatively, a non-woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a net, a sponge sheet, or the like may be placed and the aqueous composition of the drug may be applied and impregnated thereon. The sheet-shaped drug composition thus formed can be used by peeling it from the base material, but can also be used as an integrated sheet while being laminated on the base material, in which case the base material is reinforced. It also functions as a material.

When the wood protective sheet of the present invention is used as a laminated sheet without being peeled from the base material, if a non-water-permeable or non-moisture-permeable base material is used, the base material also functions as a moisture-proof protective layer. Further, the base material can be made to function as a part of the package together with the moisture-proof film or the like attached to the upper surface of such a laminated sheet. In such a case, the base material may be a smooth film or sheet, but if irregularities or wrinkles are appropriately added, the holding power of the drug composition is increased, and the drug solution generated during leaching of the drug Is less likely to flow down the surface of the sheet, and there is an advantage that droplets are easily separated from the sheet surface.

(Action) The chemical-retaining sheet of the present invention can exhibit remarkable antiseptic and insecticidal effects by being fixed on the surface of or around the object of antiseptic and insect control by appropriate means. That is, for example, when the sheet of the present invention holding a wood preservative is fixed to the wood surface placed in a decaying environment of high humidity, the preservative held in the sheet is leached by dew condensation water on the wood surface. To prevent the wood from decaying. Further, when the sheet of the present invention holding the insect repellent is laid on the soil surface under the floor such as a building, moisture evaporated from the soil is condensed on the lower surface of the sheet,
The insect repellent control agent retained on the sheet is transferred to the soil due to the dew condensation water and exerts an insect repellent control effect, thereby achieving the purpose of protecting wood.

As a result, in the building A, the construction conditions of the sheets of the embodiment were such that the foundations and other essential structural materials were used even though the joints between the sheets and some gaps between the sheets and the rising portions of the concrete cloth foundation were provided. Was not damaged at all. This is because the evaporated water from the soil is condensed on the bottom surface of the sheet,
It is considered that the moisture caused the ant-preventive agent held on the sheet to leach out and freely migrate into the soil.

(Effect of the invention) Since the wood protective sheet of the present invention is formed by contacting with water and retaining it so that it can be leached, it is attached to wood placed in a decay environment or laid on the surface of insect-damaged soil. In this case, the retaining agent is leached by water such as dew condensation water on the surface of the sheet, and there is a remarkable advantage that the decay of wood and the occurrence of insect damage can be effectively prevented. Further, the construction of the wood protection sheet of the present invention requires almost no labor as compared with the conventional method of spraying or applying a preservative on the wood surface or laying the conventional termite controlling agent-carrying sheet carefully. It has the advantages of being extremely simple, having a good working environment during construction, and being safe in terms of hygiene.
