For this reason, work boats that merely cut aquatic plants and the aquatic grass cutting device disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-18530 are known. However, since this aquatic plant cutting device does not have a long conveyor that reaches the bottom of the water, it is impossible to cut the aquatic plants that vegetate on the water from the roots. Further, when a rotary aquatic plant cutter at the tip of a conveyor is used to cut a soft aquatic plant without a waist, the aquatic plant is made to fall down and comes off from the aquatic plant cutter, which makes it difficult to cut reliably.

In the present invention, the conveyor is held by a holding means or a roller to adjust the height of the tip of the conveyor to the height at which the aquatic plant is desired to be cut or the water bottom. If the ship is advanced in this state, the cutting blade attached to the conveyor is rotated by driving the conveyor, and the cutting blade cuts the aquatic plant. In addition, the cutting aquatic plants as they are, the cutting blade itself pushes up along the conveyor to the ship, and collects the aquatic plants in the storage tank provided for the ship. In this way, by moving the ship forward to cut the aquatic plants and collecting them in the storage tank, the aquatic plants can be reliably and continuously removed.

When a roller for grounding the bottom of the water is provided at the tip of the conveyor, the roller rolls up and down along the surface of the bottom of the water even if the bottom of the water is uneven or sloped and is not horizontal. Since the conveyor also moves up and down in conjunction with the vertical movement of the roller, the cutting blade and the bottom of the water can always keep a certain distance to reliably cut the aquatic plant from the root.

When the conveyor is a net conveyor, the forward movement of the ship can prevent the flow of water such that the water hitting the conveyor escapes to both ends of the conveyor, and this flow of water pushes the conveyor upward. All aquatic plants on the way can be collected in the storage tank without being washed away. Furthermore, since the belt of the net conveyor has a net shape and many openings, the aquatic plants are pressed against the belt by the water pressure of the flow of water trying to penetrate the belt, and the aquatic plants are pushed up more reliably. It can be collected in the storage tank without fail.

As shown in FIG. 4, since the rear portion 13 of the conveyor is rotatably rotated about the rotary shaft 8, the rear winch 21 is driven when the aquatic plant 22 collected in the storage tank 5 is removed from the storage tank 5. Then, if the conveyor rear part 13 is lifted vertically, the conveyor rear part 13 does not become an obstacle, and the collected aquatic plants 22 can be easily removed from the storage tank 5. In this case, since the belt 3 is slackened between the guides 29 on the lower surface of the frame 9, the belt 3 can be easily rotated without being stretched.

According to the present invention, the tip of the conveyor can be easily adjusted to the water bottom or the height at which the aquatic plants are to be cut by the holding means provided in the conveyor, and the vessel is driven by the conveyor to rotate the cutting blade. The water plants can be reliably cut from the roots and all can be reliably collected in the storage tank just by moving forward. Also, if a roller is attached to the tip of the conveyor, it is possible to quickly and reliably cut from the root of the aquatic plant even on an uneven water bottom.
Furthermore, if the cutting blade is serrated and the conveyor is a net conveyor, it is possible to surely cut even a soft aquatic plant without stiffness, and the cut aquatic plant is surely applied with the water pressure of water trying to penetrate the belt. It can be pushed up along the belt and collected in the storage tank. If the rear part of the conveyor is rotatable about the rotary shaft, the aquatic plants collected from the storage tank can be easily taken out by rotating the rear part of the conveyor vertically or more. In this way, it became a very practical aquatic plant removal work boat.
