Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 旋盤のワーク回転保持具に保持して回転
せしめられるワーク外周面に、工具台に配設した研磨材
を圧接可能とする研磨装置において、工具台に固定さ
れ、ワークの一側方に配置される支持台と、原反から操
出し可能とされ、ワークの外周面に巻回し可能とされる
帯状研磨材と、支持台の一端側において帯状研磨材の原
反側部分を固定保持し、該研磨材のワーク外周面に接す
ることとなる研磨面が該研磨材の幅方向においてワーク
側に凸となるように、該研磨材に幅方向の反りを付与す
る保持面を備える研磨材保持具と、支持台の他端側にお
いて帯状研磨材のワーク外周面を経た巻回し済端部を固
定保持し、該研磨材に張力を付与可能とするシリンダ装
置と、ワーク外周面とシリンダ装置との間の研磨材張設
経路に設けられ、該研磨材のワーク外周面に接していた
研磨面が該研磨材の幅方向においてワーク側に凸となる
ように、該研磨材に幅方向の反りを付与するガイド面を
備える研磨材ガイドと、帯状研磨材のワーク外周面に接
する研磨領域の両側において該研磨材とワーク外周面と
が形成する2つのくさび空間のそれぞれに圧縮エアを吹
付けるエアノズルとを有してなることを特徴とする研磨
装置。
