A partition plate 2 divides the inside of the heat exchange unit 1 into an upper heat exchange chamber 3 and a lower machine chamber 4. Reference numeral 5 denotes a main blower, which is arranged at the discharge port 6 on the upper surface. Reference numeral 7 is a main suction port provided in the front plate, 8 is a plate fin type heat exchanger (hereinafter referred to as “heat exchanger”) obliquely arranged with respect to the main suction port, and laminated fins 9 are provided. Are arranged in a vertical direction, and the heat exchange pipe 10 runs in a horizontal direction. 11 is the angle attached to the rear plate 19,
Numeral 12 is a fixing member provided at both ends of the lower part of the heat exchanger 8. The left end of this member is fixed to the angle 11 and the right end thereof is fixed to the rising piece 13 of the partition plate 2. That is, the fixing members 12 are in contact with both ends of the lower portion of the heat exchanger 8, but the laminated fins 9 are exposed in the other portions 14. In other words, the ventilation holes 23 of the partition plate 2 (the partition plate 2 and the angle 11 are formed by the fixing member 12) are covered by the ends of the multiple fins 9 of the heat exchanger 8.

Reference numeral 22 is a second drain hole provided in the rear plate 19. And discharge port 6
In addition, the rainwater that has entered the heat exchange chamber 3 through the main suction port 7 and is received by the partition plate 2 passes through the first drain hole 21 and the water receiving tray 20.
On the other hand, the rainwater that has entered the machine room 4 directly from the lower end of the heat exchanger 8 is received by the water trays 20 and discharged to the outside of the heat exchange unit 1 through the second drain holes 22.

That is, the air in front of the heat exchange unit 1 is introduced into the heat exchange chamber 3 through the main suction port 7 by the operation of the main blower 5,
After being subjected to a heat exchange action with the refrigerant flowing in the heat exchanger 3, it is blown out from the discharge port 6. Further, the air behind the heat exchange unit 1 is introduced into the machine room 4 through the auxiliary suction port 18 by the operation of the auxiliary blower 17, and cools the compressor 16. After that, the air in the machine chamber 4 is introduced into the heat exchange chamber 3 through the ventilation passage 15 between the fins 9 of the heat exchanger 8, and is blown out from the discharge port 6 together with the air in the heat exchange chamber 3. .

Since this air passage 15 is narrow, this heat exchanger 8 acts as a kind of air filter, and makes it difficult for dust and the like that has entered the heat exchange chamber 3 to enter the machine chamber 4. Moreover, since the air passage 15 is narrow, noise generated during the operation of the compressor 16 is less likely to be transmitted to the heat exchange chamber 3.

By this heat exchanger, it becomes difficult for dust in the heat exchange chamber to enter the machine room, and the dirt in the machine room can be suppressed. In addition, this heat exchanger makes it difficult for the operating noise of the compressor housed in the machine room to be transmitted to the heat exchange room, and the noise of the heat exchange unit can be suppressed to a low level.
