2. Description of the Related Art There are air conditioners which are installed behind the ceiling of a room to be air-conditioned, for example, as shown in FIG. This type of air conditioner has an air inlet 22 on one side of a main body 21 and an outlet 23 for sending out heat-exchanged air on the other side.
And the room to be air-conditioned are connected by a duct. The inside of the main body 21 is partitioned by a partition plate 24 into a blower room 25 and a heat exchange room 26.
A blower 27 for sending air from the heat exchanger 26 to the heat exchange chamber 26 is provided. In one of the heat exchange chambers 26, a heat exchanger 28 and a dew tray 29 for receiving and discharging the defrosted water from the heat exchanger 28 are provided. Is provided. Drainage ports 30 as shown in FIG. Either one of the two drainage ports 30 is selectively used depending on the installation conditions of the main body 21 and the like, and a drain hose can be connected to a tip portion.

By the way, since the above-mentioned dew tray 29 is provided with drain ports 30 on both sides, it is convenient to selectively use one of them. Since there is a condition that the defrost water from the heat exchanger 26 has to flow into the port 30, the bottom face cannot be inclined only with respect to any one of the drain ports 30 and is formed horizontally. Therefore, depending on the installation state of the main body 21, there is a possibility that drainage cannot be performed sufficiently and water accumulates, and if the dirt becomes severe, a bad smell may be generated. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner configured to surely drain a dew tray.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and comprises a partition plate having an air inlet on one side and a ventilation hole in a main body having an air outlet on the other side. A blower compartment and a heat exchange compartment are provided, and the blower compartment is provided with a blower for sending air from the suction port to the heat exchange compartment, while the heat exchange compartment has a heat exchanger and a lower portion of the heat exchanger. In the air conditioner installed above the ceiling, a duct is connected between the inlet and the outlet and the room to be air-conditioned, and a lower portion of the heat exchanger is provided. A plurality of central fins are bent left and right so as to form a ventilation path between the front and rear, and a bottom surface of the dew tray is provided with a wind shield plate facing the outlet of the ventilation path at a predetermined interval. It was to be.

According to the above construction, an air passage is formed between the front and rear of the lower center of the heat exchanger, and the airflow passing through the air passage hits a wind shield provided on the bottom surface of the dew tray and rebounds left and right. By flowing back to the drain so as to cover the bottom of the dew tray, the water flowing toward the drain will gain momentum,
Drainage will be promoted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS One embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a main body of an air conditioner installed behind a ceiling. The main body 1 has an air inlet 2 on one side and an outlet 3 on the other side. A separately formed duct (not shown) is connected between 3 and the air-conditioned room (not shown). The inside of the main body 1 is divided into a blower room 5 and a heat exchange room 6 by a partition plate 4 erected in the center, and a blower 7 for sending air from the suction port 2 to the heat exchange room 6 is provided in the blower room 5. Arranged, heat exchange room 6
Is provided with a heat exchanger 8 and a dew tray 9 for receiving and discharging defrost water dropped from the heat exchanger 8. On both left and right side surfaces of the dew receiving tray 9, drain ports 10 selectively used in accordance with the installation state of the main body 1 are provided. The above-mentioned partition plate 4 has ventilation holes 11 corresponding to the outlets of blower 7.
Is provided.

The feature of this embodiment is that, as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of fins 12 at the lower center of the heat exchanger 8 are bent right and left so as to improve the air flow between front and rear. While forming the ventilation path 13
In other words, a wind shield plate 14 facing the outlet 3 at a predetermined interval is provided on the bottom surface of the dew receiving tray 9. With such a configuration, a larger air flow than the air flow passing between the surrounding fins passes through the ventilation path 13, and the air flow passing through the ventilation path 13 is exposed to the dew tray. 9 goes straight to the wind shield 14 along the center surface thereof, is divided into right and left by the action of the wind shield 14 and reverses, and as shown by the arrow, the drain 9
To the drain 10
The water flowing to the shore will also gain momentum and drainage will be promoted. Although the bottom surface of the dew tray 9 is horizontal in this embodiment, the drainage speed can be further increased by forming an inclined surface on the bottom surface of the dew tray 9 so that the space between the two drain ports 10─10 is at the lowest position. Can be hastened.
