2. Description of the Related Art Curbs are laid in a row along the boundary line between a sidewalk and a sidewalk so as to clearly distinguish the sidewalk and the sidewalk from each other and prevent vehicles from entering the sidewalk. The curb is generally a concrete block that is molded into a rectangular parallelepiped by kneading cement and sand. To lay this curb, dig a groove in the place where the road surface is laid, lay stones and gravel on the bottom of the groove, and pour a well-mixed ground concrete mixed with sand and water into the cement. A base is prepared, and a plurality of the curbs are arranged on the base in a row with a gap for forming a joint between them. The periphery of the curbs arranged in a row is lightly tapped with a mallet to align the front and back surfaces and the upper surface of the curb with the laying reference line stretched along the curb laying groove. By this alignment, the front and rear surfaces and the upper surface of the curb are laid along the laying reference line, and as a result, the heights and lateral deviations of the plurality of curbs are adjusted. Then, pour the joint concrete into the gap between each curb,
Finish the surface of the joint concrete with a trowel.

Since the conventional curb is a concrete block composed of cement and sand as described above, its strength is affected by the proportion of cement, the amount of water added during kneading and the method of kneading. It And
If the ratio of cement, the amount of water added, and the mixing method are poorly managed, the strength of the curb will decrease, and the curb will be cracked or chipped due to the impact after laying, or the curb and the joint surface will peel off. Such problems are inherent. In addition, the conventional curb is constructed as a single surface where the entire laying bottom surface is almost continuous in the front, rear, left and right, so when laying work, the curb is placed on the foundation concrete and its height and lateral deviation are adjusted. The local part of the bottom surface for laying abuts against the rubble and gravel through the foundation concrete, the curb tilts,
Stability such as rattling deteriorates, and it is difficult to reliably adjust the height and lateral deviation of the curb so that it follows the laying reference line, and even if the bending height and lateral deviation are adjusted, the curb will be misaligned between the curbs until it hardens. Sometimes occurred. Further, the concrete block is difficult to color by mixing a colorant into cement and sand from the viewpoint of securing the strength of the curb, and when coloring, it is common to paint on the surface, The curb after laying is in contact with the tires of the vehicle, stepped on by people, and exposed to wind and rain, so the paint easily peels off, and regular repairs were required.

In the curbstone according to the present invention, the synthetic resin enters into every corner of the pebbles with no gaps, and the pebbles are held by the synthetic resin. Therefore, the bond strength between the pebbles and granules is increased, and the pebbles exhibit sufficient strength as curbs. Since the small stone granules are integrally bonded with a synthetic resin, they have sufficient strength and appropriate weight as curbs. Furthermore, by selecting the amount of the pebbles and the specific gravity of the resin, an appropriate weight as a curb can be obtained. Further, the vertical cross-sectional shape is an inverted truncated V-shape, a hollow opening is formed on the wide bottom surface thereof, and the lower part of the curb stone laying forms a circular closed circular peripheral wall. Therefore, when the curb is placed on the foundation, the lower part of the curb is properly embedded in the concrete due to the weight of the curb. Furthermore, if a curb is placed on the ground, even if there is a small lump such as gravel below the laying bottom, will the small lump be changed to be embedded in the ground due to the load concentration at the lower laying? Or, the small lumps are laterally displaced, and as a result, the curb laying is stabilized. In addition, since the synthetic resin can be colored by itself and has a decorative surface with unevenness on the upper surface and the front and back surfaces, the surface shape and color of natural stone can be obtained. In addition, vertical grooves are formed on both end faces, and when the curbstone is laid, a binder made of synthetic resin and gravel, etc. is injected as a joint into the gap between the curbstones, so that the curbstone resin and the binder are integrated with each other. By the action of the vertical groove, it becomes stronger against both vertical and horizontal forces.

Next, the laying of the curbstone 1 formed as described above will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6. As shown in FIG. 4, a pebbled stone or gravel 32 is laid on the bottom surface of the groove 31 dug along the curbstone laying location on the road surface 30, and water is added to the cement and sand, and the mixture is kneaded. The base concrete 33 is poured to make a base. When the water content of the base concrete 21 evaporates a little and the base concrete 33 is dry and the molten state of the base concrete 21 is stable, bring the curb 1 to bring the laying bottom surface 4 of the curb 1 close to the base concrete 21, 1 is placed on the base concrete 21. Then, the curb 1 is tapped with a mallet outside the drawing, and the upper surface 15 and the front and rear surfaces 16, 17 of the curb 1 are tapped.
Is aligned so as to match the laying reference line (not shown) stretched along the curb laying groove 31. As the curb stone 1 is placed on the base concrete 33 and positioned, the curb stone 1 enters the base concrete 33 while pressing the upper surface of the base concrete 33 therebelow due to its weight. At this time, since the laying bottom surface 4 of the curb 1 is formed into the square closed ring shape by the hollowing opening 5, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the front and rear walls 5, 6 and the left and right side walls 8 of the curb 1 are formed. , 9 is appropriately sunk into the base concrete 33 at the lower part of the laying bottom surface 4 side, and the curb 1 is installed in a stable state. As a reaction of the intrusion of the curb 1 into the foundation concrete 33, the upper surface of the foundation concrete 33 around the laying bottom surface 4 is the front and rear surfaces 16, 17 and the end surfaces 18, 19 and the inner surface 1 of the curb 1.
The protrusions 1 to 14 are raised, and the outer protruding portion 33a and the inner protruding portion 33b are bulged and formed on the base concrete 33. As a result, after the foundation concrete 33 is solidified, the lower portions of the front walls 6 and 7 and the left and right side walls 8 and 9 that form the closed loop of the curbstone 1 on the bottom surface 4 side for laying are the raised portions on the outer wall side of the foundation concrete 33. 33a and inner wall side ridge 33b
The curbstone 1 is held by, and the bond strength between the curbstone 1 and the base increases. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, in order to arrange a plurality of curbs 1 and 1 in a row, the right end face 19 of one curb 1 and this curb 1
And the left end surface 18 of the other curb stone 1 adjacent thereto are opposed to each other with a joint gap therebetween. A fusible binder 34 made of synthetic resin and gravel is packed in the gaps between the adjacent curbs 1, 1 and the vertical grooves 20, 21. Joints are formed by finishing the exposed surface with a finishing iron not shown. By using the binder 34 colored in the same color as the curb 1, it is possible to imitate a natural stone in which the curb 1 and the joint are continuous. Also, curb 1
Since the end faces 18 and 19 of are rough-finished,
The synthetic resin of the binder 34 enters the small recesses on the 19 side, and a strong bonding force is created. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, since the convex portions 35 of the binder 34 are formed in the facing vertical grooves 20 and 21, the front and rear surfaces 16 and 17 of the curb 1 in the state where the binder 34 is solidified. When the lateral direction is applied to the vertical grooves 20, 21, the vertical grooves 20 and 21 are received by the convex portions 35 of the binder 34. As a result, the strong curb force against the lateral force is generated in the adjacent curb stones 1, and the curb stones 1 are less likely to fall in the front-rear direction.

As described above, according to the present invention, the block unit in which the small stone particles are integrally joined by the hardening of the synthetic resin has the inverted truncated V-shape in the side view, and the block is laid wide. The bottom surface for use has a hollowed-out opening, and the cross-sectional shape of the block itself forms a closed circular ring shape at this hollowed-out opening, while the top and front and rear surfaces of the block have a textured decorative surface. Since the blocks have vertical grooves formed on the left and right end surfaces of the block, they penetrate the bottom surface and the top surface, so that the strength of the curb can be obtained due to the binding force between the pebbles and the synthetic resin. With this, there is an effect that there is stability during laying, construction is easy, and imitation of natural stone is easy.
