[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned conventional nursery box, even if the nursery box is washed when the rice planting is completed and stored until the next year's rice planting, the concave portion corresponding to the nursery pot has an inverted pyramidal shape. Therefore, there is a problem that it is difficult to remove the soil attached to the top of the inverted pyramid. Further, in the conventional nursery box, the concave portion has an inverted pyramid shape, and since the paddy is located at the apex of this cone portion, the growing direction of the root is likely to be non-uniform, which causes root entrainment and the like. However, in some cases, it is difficult to remove seedlings when planting rice.

In the structure of the first aspect, since the concave portion which is the seedling raising pot has the truncated truncated pyramid shape, the soil in the concave portion can be quickly washed at the time of cleaning. Further, the roots germinated from the paddy seeded in the recesses grow with a tendency to follow the valley lines formed by the corners of the truncated conical pyramid to some extent, and thus the root growth is good, and It does not cause rooting. Furthermore, the present inventors have conducted various studies on the nursery box with the recess having a truncated truncated pyramid shape, and as a result, when the recess has a truncated truncated pyramid shape, the recess becomes shallower than in the case of a conventional inverted pyramidal recess. It was found that the water retention was reduced and the growth of paddy tended to be delayed. Furthermore, as a result of studying a means of not reducing the water retention even if the recess is formed into a truncated truncated pyramid shape, it is shown that the rooting hole formed at the intersection of the upper edges of the recess also functions as a drainage hole. I found it. Therefore, a columnar portion is formed so as to slightly project from the upper edge of the concave portion, and holes are formed in the vertical direction of the columnar portion to maintain good water retention as the position of the hole portion becomes higher. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS. The nursery box 1 has a tray shape composed of a substantially rectangular bottom plate portion 2 and a peripheral wall portion 3 that extends downward from the outer edge of the bottom plate portion. It is easy to hold. The bottom plate 2 is provided with a large number of recessed pyramidal recesses 4 each having a substantially square bottom 41 and openings 42, specifically, 23 rows × 46 columns. Then, the ridge line 5 which is the upper edge of the recess 4 is formed.
A circular columnar portion 6 that slightly protrudes from the upper edge of the recess 4 is formed at the intersection of the columnar portions 6, and a rectangular hole 7 is formed in the vertical direction in the columnar portion 6. Considering that the recess 4 functions as a seedling raising pot, the length L 1 of one side of the opening 42 of the inverted truncated pyramidal recess 4 is 10 to 15
It is preferably mm, especially about 12 mm. Further, the length L 2 of one side of the bottom surface portion 41 is 2 to 3 mm, especially about
2.5 mm is preferred. If the length L 2 of one side of the bottom surface portion 41 is less than 2 mm, it is difficult to quickly wash away the soil adhered to the bottom surface portion 41 at the time of cleaning, and the root 81 germinated from the paddy 8 has a truncated truncated pyramid shape. It is not preferable because it becomes difficult to grow along the valley line V formed by the corners of the recess 4.
On the other hand, if the length L 2 of one side of the bottom surface portion 41 exceeds 3 mm, the paddy 8 tends to be unevenly distributed in the bottom surface portion 41, which is not preferable. Further, the depth H of the recess 4 is preferably 3 to 6 mm, particularly about 4 mm. If the depth H of the recess 4 is less than 3 mm, it becomes difficult to provide sufficient water retention, while if it exceeds 6 mm, the growth period of seedlings is prolonged, which is not preferable. When the recess 4 is an inverted pyramid as in the conventional case, the depth H of the recess 4 is about 7 mm, which is slightly shallower in this embodiment. Further, in this embodiment, no hole 7 is formed in the columnar portion 6A at the intersection of one row of four sides near the peripheral wall 3 of the nursery box 1. This is because when the water is sprinkled from above into the recess 4 near the peripheral wall 3, it is difficult for the peripheral wall 3 to supply water, and therefore the hole 7 having a function as a drain hole is not formed. Of. Therefore, as in the present embodiment, the hole 7 is formed in the vicinity of the peripheral wall 3 by the columnar portion 6 for one row of four sides.
The holes 7 may be formed at all intersections, and in some cases, as shown in FIG.
It is not necessary to form the holes 7 in the two rows on the four sides in the vicinity. Further, it is not necessary to form the holes 7 in the columnar portions 6 for three rows or four rows. However, if the number of columnar portions 6 in which the holes 7 are not formed becomes too large, the drainage becomes too bad this time. Therefore, for example, when the concave portions are continuously arranged in 23 rows × 46 columns as in the present embodiment, four rows are formed. The following is preferable.

The operation of the above configuration will be described. First, one or several grains of paddy 8 are scattered in each recess 4 of the seedling raising box 1, and soil is laid from the top to a predetermined thickness,
Raise seedlings by applying water. Root germinated from the paddy 8
After reaching the hole portion 7 from the concave portion 4 and advancing to the soil outside, in the present embodiment, since the concave portion 4 is a truncated truncated pyramid, the root 81 is a truncated truncated pyramid. Since it branches with a tendency to follow the valley line V formed by the corners of the concave portion 4 and grows substantially evenly, the growth is good, and no root entrainment occurs. Further, since the columnar portion 6 is formed at the intersection of the ridgelines 5 of the recess 4 so as to slightly project from the ridgeline 5 of the recess 4, the water retention property is good. In particular, in this embodiment, since the columnar portions 6 of the four sides and one row in the vicinity of the peripheral wall 3 of the nursery box 1 do not have the holes 7, the water retention of the concave portion 4 near the peripheral wall 3 in which the water retention is likely to be lowered. The sex is particularly good. After sprinkling water for a predetermined period of time and the shoots have grown to a predetermined size, the seedling raising box 1 as a whole can be installed in a rice transplanter for rice transplanting. Further, when the rice planting is completed, the used nursery box is washed. The washing can be performed, for example, by jetting high-pressure water toward the nursery box 1. At this time, in the above-mentioned embodiment, since the concave portion 4 has the truncated truncated pyramid shape, the soil and the like adhering to the bottom surface portion 41 of the concave portion 4 can be easily washed away, and the nursery box 1 can be stored hygienically. .

As described above in detail, the seedling raising box 1 according to the above-mentioned embodiment comprises a substantially rectangular bottom plate portion 2 and a peripheral wall portion 3 extending from the outer edge portion of the bottom plate portion 2, and the bottom plate portion 2 is provided with a reverse cutting head. A large number of pyramidal recesses 4 are provided in series, a columnar portion 6 slightly protruding from the upper edge of the recess 4 is formed at the intersection of the ridgelines 5 of these recesses 4, and a hole 7 is vertically formed in the columnar portion 6. Since it is perforated, the growth property of the paddy 8 is good, roots and the like do not occur, and the water retention property is good. In addition, since soil or the like does not remain in the recesses 4 when the rice planting is finished and the washing is performed, it is sanitary. Moreover, in the above-described embodiment, since the holes 7 are not formed in the columnar portions 6 of the four sides and one row in the vicinity of the peripheral wall 3 of the seedling raising box 1, the water in the recesses 4 near the peripheral wall 3 which easily deteriorates the water retention. Possession is particularly good.

Although the seedling raising box of the present invention has been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings, the present invention is not limited to this and can be appropriately modified within the scope of the gist of the present invention. For example, the shape of the lower surface of the seedling raising box 1 is not particularly limited, and can be appropriately designed according to injection moldability, mold shape and the like.
Further, ribs or the like can be appropriately formed on the peripheral wall portion 3 and the lower surface side as necessary. Further, it goes without saying that the thickness of the seedling raising box 1 and the like can be changed as appropriate according to the desired mechanical strength. In the present specification, the inverted truncated pyramid-shaped recess 4 basically means the opening 42 and the bottom surface.
However, the valley line V (oblique side) formed by the corners of the recess 4 may be slightly curved. Further, the recess 4 is not limited to the one having the square opening 42 and the bottom 41 as in the above embodiment, but can be applied to recesses having various shapes such as a triangle and a hexagon.
