Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily form the extremely fine joint by projecting a projection from the surface of a bottom plate, fixing the back surface of the bottom plate to the wall surface so as to abut on the wall surface, coating the wall surface with the coating material, and eliminating the coating material covering the tip surface of the projection so as to expose the tip surface to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A joint forming member 1 is cut at a length corresponding to the joint to be formed, and adhered to the wall surface W by the appropriate adhesive agent. The whole surface of the wall surface W is coated with the liquid group or the solvent group coating material by spreading, trowel coating, roll coating so as to form a coating layer C at a thickness enough for covering a part or all of the tip surface 3a of a projection 3. Immediately after coating the coating material, irregularity of the surface of the coating layer C is eliminated by roller pushing or trowel sliding, and while the tip surface 3a of the projection 3 is exposed, and thereafter, the coating layer C is dried. A fine joint is thereby easily formed, and a design as beautiful as attachment of the natural stone can be obtained, and the coating work is facilitated.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a joint forming method and a joint forming member used therein. More specifically, it is possible to easily form very thin joints while applying a coating material with a color and pattern that closely resembles real natural stone to the walls of buildings, etc. TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a joint forming method with which a design can be obtained and a joint forming member used therein.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to improve the aesthetic appearance of interior and exterior walls of buildings, ceilings, floors, etc., blocks or stone plates made of natural stones such as marble have been arranged on the surfaces thereof. However, it is necessary to cut out natural stone into a predetermined shape and fit it on the wall surface, which requires time and cost.

Therefore, in recent years, a coating layer resembling a natural stone pattern has been obtained by applying a finishing material containing a coloring material and an aggregate to a wall surface by using a synthetic resin emulsion as a binder, by spraying, ironing or roller coating. It has been carried out that the cosmetic effect similar to that of natural stone can be obtained at low cost.

Furthermore, when this coating is performed, joints formed when adjacent natural stones are butted are also imitated. For example, there is a method of forming a groove joint by pasting a tape or joint frame on the wall surface in advance, applying a coating material on the surface, and then peeling off the tape from the wall surface. However, in this joint forming method, the joint is formed by attaching a tape or the like to the wall surface, forming the coating layer, and then removing the joint, and the edge of the coating layer is removed when the tape or the like is removed. Only the wide joints can be used because the tape collapses when the joints are narrow and the tape is cut off when the joints are narrow.

Therefore, as a joint forming method with which these drawbacks are improved, there is a method described in JP-A-58-153840. In this method, as shown in FIG. 9, a joint forming member 21 having a U-shaped cross section on a wall surface W and a slope formed on the outer surface is attached so that the raised portions 22 and 23 face upward, Groove 2 between ridges 22 and 23
After protecting 4 with a joint curing material or the like, a coating material is applied to the entire surface of the wall surface W to form a coating layer C, the joint curing material is removed, and the groove 24 is exposed to the outside. The part looks like a joint.

2 mm) and is very wide. Therefore, the above-mentioned joint forming method has a problem that it is difficult to look like a real joint and there is a gap between the joint and a design such as a genuine natural stone stuck. On the other hand, if the width of the groove 24 is narrowed, there is a problem in that it is extremely difficult to protect the groove in terms of material and shape, which is not preferable in practice.

[Function] Prior to coating, a joint forming member having a single projecting ridge protruding from the surface of the bottom plate is fixed to the wall surface so that the back surface of the bottom plate contacts the wall surface, and then the coating material is applied to the wall surface. However, by removing the coating material that covers the tip surface of the ridge, the tip surface of the ridge is exposed to the outside, and as a result, thread threads as thin as the joints obtained when the adjacent natural stones are butted. The ground can be easily obtained.

The ridge 3 may be provided at any position as long as it is the surface of the bottom plate 2. For example, like the joint forming member 4 shown in FIG. 3, the protrusion 3 may be projected from a position near one of the side surfaces of the bottom plate 2 to have an L-shaped cross section, The joint forming member 5 shown in FIG.
As described above, the protrusion 3 may be provided at a position displaced from the central axis of the bottom plate 2 to the left or right.

Further, as in the joint forming member 6 shown in FIG. 5, the bottom plate 2 may be formed so that it is thickest in the vicinity of the root of the protrusion 3 and becomes thinner as it goes away. By partially reducing the thickness of the bottom plate 2 in the vicinity of both ends thereof, the effect of preventing the coating material from rising on the upper surface of the bottom plate 2 and the connection between the bottom plate 2 and the protrusions 3 are obtained. It is possible to simultaneously achieve the effect of strengthening.

Further, like the joint forming member 7 shown in FIG. 6, the vicinity of the tip of the protrusion 3 may be chamfered to be rounded. By rounding the vicinity of the tip of the ridge 3 in this manner, a narrow joint having a wider width can be produced.

Further, the joint forming member 10 shown in FIG.
As described above, if the adhesive layer 11 is formed on the lower surface of the bottom plate 2, the joint forming member can be easily fixed to the wall surface. The surface of the adhesive layer 11 may be protected by a release paper (not shown) before use.

The material of the joint forming member is not particularly limited in the present invention. For example, synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride resin, acrylic resin or polyester resin, brass,
Examples thereof include metals such as stainless steel and aluminum, rubber, ceramics, and the like, and those made of synthetic resin are preferable in terms of price and handleability. Next, the joint forming method of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. First, the joint forming member 1 is cut out by the length of the joint to be formed and attached to the wall surface W of a building or the like with an appropriate adhesive. In the case of the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, it is not necessary to apply an adhesive to the joint forming member 1 or the wall surface W, and the work can be performed efficiently.

Then, a coating material is applied to the entire surface of the wall surface W,
The coating layer C having a thickness that covers a part or the whole of the tip surface 3a of the protrusion 3 is formed. As a coating method, for example, a spraying method, a trowel coating method, or a roller coating method can be adopted. Further, the coating material used in the joint formation method of the present invention is not particularly limited, and may be either water-based or solvent-based, and the resin contained may be acrylic resin, vinyl acetate resin,
It may be appropriately selected from versatic acid / vinyl acetate resin, vinyl chloride resin, urethane resin, silicone resin, fluororesin and the like.

Immediately after the application of the coating material, the unevenness of the surface of the coating layer C is eliminated by roller pressing or troweling, and the tip surface 3a of the ridge 3 is exposed.

If necessary, after drying, the surface of the coating layer C may be polished with a grinder, sander, or other polishing machine to expose the tip end surface 3a of the ridge 3. In this case, it is preferable that the thickness of the ridge 3 is substantially uniform from the tip to the root because joints having a uniform width can be obtained.
Also, if necessary, after drying, on the surface of the coating layer C,
The top coating may be applied using acrylic resin, urethane resin, silicone resin, fluororesin, or the like.
