Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a writing implement so formed that a grip part can be easily adapted to a gripping convenience for an individual user. CONSTITUTION:A writing implement is composed of a holder barrel part 1 housing a writing unit 2 in its inside, a covering body 5 consisting of a flexible material fitted around the holder barrel part 1 so that a space part is formed between the holder barrel part 1 and its outside surface, and a liquid material 7 which is filled in a space part formed between the outside surface of the holder barrel part 1 and the coated body 5, and has fluidity at a room temperature. A surface of the coated body 5 is constructed as a gripping part. Therefore, at the same time when an user holds the writing implement, a liquid material flows, and the gripping part is deformed to a shape adapted for gripping convenience for an individual hand by a suitable viscosity of the liquid material 7 via the covering body 5 consisting of the flexible material.

2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional writing instrument, a shaft body has a cross section formed in a triangular shape, for example, so as to facilitate gripping or to form a groove on the surface of the shaft body to prevent the grip from slipping. For example, the surface of the shaft body is coated with a rubber member or wound to make a soft touch feeling. By making these improvements, the grip feeling, texture, etc. of the writing instrument are improved to some extent.

However, in the conventional writing instruments as described above, so-called "familiarity" does not occur with respect to the gripping condition of the individual user, and one step is left unsatisfactory in terms of usability. Therefore, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-1
As disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 08598, a shaft body of a writing instrument is made of, for example, low-temperature thermoplastic that softens at about 60 ° C., and the shaft body is heated and softened as necessary, and the shaft body is used. There has been proposed a device that can be shaped into a grip shape suitable for each person. According to this, the user individually softens the shaft body by, for example, immersing it in hot water, and shapes the shaft body in the softened state so that it can be adapted to the grip of the individual.

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional writing instrument, although it is made of a low-temperature thermoplastic which does not soften by human body heat and is softened at a relatively low temperature, In shaping the shape of the portion, it is necessary to prepare a hot water of at least about 60 ° C. or more, and to heat the shaft body portion by heating means. Moreover, in order to provide a grip shape that suits the individual user, it is inevitable that a shaping operation such as quickly grasping the shaft body portion with a bare hand while the shaft body portion is in a softened state is performed. Therefore, it is not suitable for infants and the elderly because it requires hot water and it is necessary to handle the barrel with bare hands while it is softened. Also, when shaping the shaft body, the entire writing instrument is heated at a considerable temperature, so it cannot be used for writing instruments that contain water-based ink. However, the ink may be adversely affected and the life of the ink may be shortened.

Further, although such a writing instrument can be shaped into a specific grip shape that suits the individual user, when another person tries to use it, on the other hand, it becomes extremely inconvenient and heats up each time. There is a technical problem that it is necessary to perform shaping.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A writing instrument according to the present invention, which has been made to achieve the above-mentioned object, is provided between a shaft barrel containing a writing unit therein and an outer surface of the shaft barrel. An outer casing made of a flexible material attached to the periphery of the shaft body so as to form a space, and a space formed between the outer surface of the shaft body and the outer cover. The basic structure is that it is made of a liquid substance having fluidity at room temperature, and the surface of the outer casing serves as a grip portion. Further, in the writing instrument according to the present invention, the outer cover is formed in a cylindrical shape, and both ends of the cylindrical outer cover are attached to the shaft body in a sealed state by sealing rings or by welding means. .

In the writing instrument of the present invention, the outer body made of a flexible material forms a space between the outer surface of the shaft body and the liquid substance having fluidity at room temperature. Since the user holds the writing instrument at the same time, the liquid substance flows through the outer casing made of a flexible material at the same time, and the proper viscosity of the liquid substance causes the outer casing to be held by an individual's hand. It transforms into a shape suitable for the grip of. Further, the writing instrument according to the present invention is attached to the outer surface of the shaft body portion by a sealing ring or a welding means, whereby leakage of the liquid substance is surely prevented.

Several means are conceivable for filling the liquid substance 7 in the space formed between the outer surface of the shaft body 1 and the outer casing 5. For example, a method of previously forming an injection hole (not shown) in a part of the shaft body 1 and sealing the injection hole of the shaft body 1 after the injection of the liquid substance 7, or the method of sealing the sealing ring 6 With one attached, the liquid substance 7 is injected from the open portion of the other shaft body 1 and the outer casing 5,
A method of sealing the liquid substance 7 in the space portion by attaching the other sealing ring 6 in a state where an appropriate amount of the liquid substance 7 is injected may be considered.

As is apparent from the above description, the writing instrument according to the present invention has the following features:
Since a space portion is formed between the outer surface of the shaft body portion and this space portion is filled with a liquid substance that has fluidity at room temperature, a flexible material is used at the same time when the user holds the writing instrument. The liquid substance flows through the outer casing made of. Then, due to the appropriate viscosity of the liquid substance, the grip portion is appropriately transformed into a shape adapted to the grip of an individual hand.
Therefore, the user's individual hand grip immediately becomes “familiar”, and a writing instrument with good usability can be provided. Moreover, it is possible to provide a highly safe product without the need to prepare hot water as described above, heat it by immersing it in the hot water, and quickly hold the shaft body with bare hands. .
