Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a pillow to be used both in lying on one's face and on one's back by composing the pillow of a skeleton portion having a hole for ventilation and a cushion portion having a recess for supporting one's head and a hole for putting one's nose therein. CONSTITUTION:A construction of a cushion portion 1 comprises a soft material like cotton, cloth, sponge and urethane foam and a material for covering the soft material with a texture like leather, vinyl or rennion. The construction is of a reverse U-shape having a recess in the central part. One in lying one's face rests one's blow on a portion corresponding to the apex of the letter U and buries one's both cheeks in portions corresponding to the vertical rods of the letter U for use. Also in lying on one's back one rests the upper part of one's rear head on the portion corresponding to the apex of the letter U for use. A skeleton portion 2 supports the cushion portion 1 and one's head and the blank is made of a hard material like a plate, a metal and a plastic. However, the front and back surfaces of the skeleton portion are provided with holes respectively through which air blows for ventilation.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a pillow that can be used when lying on the back and lying on the back. [Prior Art] Conventional pillows are suitable for lying on their backs and lying down, but not for lying on their backs. Therefore, in hospitals and clinics, when lying down, use a bust mat (the one under the chest with a certain slope) or a perforated bed (one with a hole in the center of the head of the bed). Came. However, the bust mat has the drawback of compressing the chest and making it hard to breathe, and the drawback of bending the body and straining the lower back. In addition, there is a drawback that it is not suitable for sleeping on the back. On the other hand, the perforated bed base has a drawback that the manufacturing cost is high because the hole is purposely opened. In addition, there is a drawback that it is not suitable for sleeping on the back. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention has been invented to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention comprises a skeleton portion having a hole or a gap for ventilation, and a cushion portion having a recess for supporting the head and a hole for receiving a nose. Or it consists of two pillows and one for connecting them. Both are used in the same way, place the pillow parallel to the center line of the head, and put the head in the recess. In the case of lying down, put the forehead and cheeks without pressing the nose bridge,
If you are sleeping on your back, put your back of your head without both shoulders. [Operation] By doing this, the chest will not be pressed too much,
Avoid excessive strain on your lower back. The present invention has a simple structure and can be manufactured at a low cost, but can be used for both lying down and lying down. [Examples] Four examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. [Example 1]

In FIG. 1, 1 is a cushion portion. The structure is a soft material such as cotton, cloth, sponge, or urethane foam covered with leather or cloth such as vinyl or leonion. Its shape is an inverted U-shape with a concave central part. When lying down, put a forehead on the part corresponding to the U-shaped nodal point, and lay both cheeks on the part corresponding to the U-shaped vertical bar. To use. In addition, when sleeping on the back, the upper part of the back of the head is placed on the part corresponding to the U-shaped node. 2 ...
Is a skeleton portion, and is for supporting the cushion portion 1 ... And the human head. The material is a hard material such as a plate, metal, or plastic. However, there are holes in the front and back, which are open spaces. This is provided for ventilation.

However, there is also a method of covering the side surface and bottom surface of the latter with the former without using this. In this case, the cost is slightly higher, but the strength and elasticity of the entire pillow can be increased. [Example 2]

In FIG. 3, 1 ... Is a cushion part and 2 ...
Is a skeleton part. An adhesive, a string, a wire or a hook is used to combine the former and the latter.
Another method is to wrap the latter in the former. The former structure is similar to that of the cushion portion of [Example 1]. The latter structure is made by weaving bamboo, rattan, etc., or by crossing vinyl strings, wires, wire ropes, metal rods, etc. The method of using this pillow is the same as in [Example 1]. There is also a method of using a net or cloth in the recess of the skeleton part instead of the cushion and using it as a pillow. In this case, the elasticity is poorer than when the cushion is used, but the manufacturing cost is lower.

In FIG. 5, 3 ... Is a pillow. The material is the same as that of the cushion portion of [Example 1], and the shape is a prism having a trapezoidal bottom surface. 4 is a cloth, and a velcro tape female 5 is sewn to one end on the front side and a male male tape 6 is sewn to one end on the back side. The distance between the pillows can be changed according to the width of the user's nose, and the attached portion of the velcro can be changed accordingly. If you put your head on this, two pillows will try to spread to the left and right due to its weight. At this time, the cloth is taut and the head is well supported and fixed.

FIG. 7 shows a structure in which two pillows 3 ... Are fixed by a frame (which is fitted from below). The frame is made of a hard material such as plate, metal or plastic. This is a wide frame 7 for adults.
There are two types, a narrow frame and a frame 8 for children. The above object can be achieved by placing the head on such a frame and pillow. In the case of the method of connecting two pillows as in [Embodiment 3] and [Embodiment 4], the shape of the pillow can be changed according to the skeleton and preference of the user. Instead of the quadrangular prism, other prisms (triangular prism, pentagonal prism, hexagonal prism, etc.) or cylinders may be used. Further, an oval columnar bottom surface, a fan-shaped columnar bottom surface, a heart-shaped columnar bottom surface, a hemispherical columnar bottom surface (capsule type) and the like may be used. [Effects of the Invention] Although the structure of the present invention is extremely simple, the effects are immense. First, the following effects are obtained when sleeping on the back. (A) The occipital region is well fixed, so the mind rests. Especially effective for patients who need rest due to musculoskeletal disorders (cervical spine injury, cervical disc herniation, cervical sprain, etc.) in the neck. (B) The breathability of the back of the head is good, and it does not easily get loose or rash. (C) When the occipital region is injured or a swelling occurs here, you can rest without stimulating the wound. (D) When there is heat caused by a cold, the regenerator material can be placed on the dent. When using a conventional pillow, the cold storage material may escape to the left and right due to the weight of the head, but in this case,
There is no such thing. (E) There is little contact with the hair, so it does not get dirty easily. (F) When the user is an infant, deformation of the occipital region (formation of bluff head) can be prevented. Furthermore, when lying down on the stomach, the following effects are obtained. (A) Breathing is easy. This is because the nasal bridge is not crushed and there is an air passage around the nose.
This is also because the chest is not compressed as when using a bust mat. (B) You don't have to sleep with your neck turned to the left and right, so your neck does not suffer. (C) The waist does not suffer because the trunk does not need to bend over. (D) Patients with injuries on the back or buttocks (such as stiff or burns) can rest without stimulating the wound. (E) Even if an infant, an old man, or a drunk person spits food during sleep, the airway is secured, so suffocation death due to vomit can be avoided. (F) Face makeup (lipstick, foundation, etc.) and oil and sweat do not adhere to the bed, so the bed is kept clean. (G) When a healer (acupuncturist, nurse, masseuse, etc.) treats the patient's occipital region, neck, back, and lumbar region, the operation is easy. (H) Since there is a gap under the dent, you can put your favorite fragrance here. It is possible to sleep while sniffing a comfortable odor.
