Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain decorative paper having appearance nearer to that of natural wood without generating scumming and the damage of decorative paper at the time of emboss processing by laminating decorative paper having printing patterns to a base material and bonding printing ink to the protruding parts of the emboss roll of an emboss printing press and printing and coloring the recessed parts of emboss processing. CONSTITUTION:Gravure ink 2 is injected into the gap between a mesh roll 3 and a doctor blade 1 and squeezed by the blade 1 to be transferred to a rubber roll 4 and the ink on the roll 4 is transferred to the upper parts of the emboss protruding parts of an emboss roll 5. The ink bonded to the protruding parts is transferred to the bottom parts of the emboss shape of a substrate to be printed while pressed to the substrate passing through the gap between the roll 5 and a feed roll to print and color the substrate. The ink slightly remaining on the protruding parts of the roll is transferred to a rubber roll 6 and the ink on the roll 6 is washed with a washing solvent 7 to be removed by a blade 8. The cleanly washed roll 6 is rotated to wash the ink remaining on the protruding parts of the roll 5 and emboss printing of the same color is always performed.

That is, first, a vinyl acetate-based adhesive or the like is applied to a base material, and then a wood grain thin paper is used to adhere the base material to the base material. Then, an aminoalkyd resin-based or urethane resin-based sealer is applied, and after curing and drying, the decorative thin paper sealer coating film surface is embossed with a wood grain conduit pattern using a wood grain pattern embossing machine. As a result, the embossed portion becomes a recess. The embossed depressions are colored with a one-component evaporation-drying paint containing a coloring pigment by using a dedicated coloring machine such as a reverse squeeze coater or a wiping machine, and finally, an aminoalkyd resin paint and a urethane resin. It was finished by painting top paint such as paint.

However, this conventional method has a drawback that when a base material has a minute recess, the so-called ground stain phenomenon is likely to occur, which is also colored. There is a high risk of breaking the decorative paper due to the shape of the embossed part. It is necessary to apply a curable resin paint such as amino alkyd or urethane as a sealer before coloring in order to allow the recesses to be colored. The solvent resistance of the base paint is required to prevent the base from being damaged during the subsequent wiping coloring.

The amount of adhesive applied is not limited,
From the viewpoint of adhesiveness to decorative paper, it is preferably about 4 to 10 g / m 2 . Examples of the wood grain decorative paper of the present invention include thin decorative paper, titanium paper, synthetic decorative paper, and the like, among which, thin decorative paper is preferable. The thin decorative paper is suitable for embossing because it has a small thickness, does not easily contain air inside, and has high density uniformity of the paper.

The optimum amount of the quick-drying ink deposited on the embossing roll of the embossing machine is 1 to 10 g / m 2 . It is preferable to use a matting agent in combination with the printing ink. The addition of the matting agent has an effect that the embossed portion of the resulting grain-patterned decorative board looks deep, that is, it has a three-dimensional effect and gives a feeling closer to that of natural wood.

The amount of the top coating material applied is not limited in any way, but it is preferable to set it to 30 g / m 2 or less because the appearance of the embossed print of the wood grain pattern looks similar to that of the natural wood conduit. When the coating amount exceeds 30 g / m 2 , the top coating material tends to flow into the embossed portion, which is not preferable.

The present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. First, in FIG. 1, the gravure ink 2 is injected between the mesh roll 3 and the doctor blade 1, and the ink squeezed by the doctor blade is changed to the rubber roll 4
The ink on the rubber roll 4 is further transferred to the upper part of the embossed convex portion of the embossing roll 5. The ink adhering to the convex portions is transferred to the bottom of the embossed shape while pressurizing the substrate to be printed passing between the embossing roll feed rolls 9 for printing coloring.

On the other hand, the residual ink slightly remaining on the convex portion of the embossing roll is transferred to the rubber roll 6, washed with the washing solvent 7 and removed by the doctor blade 8. The cleanly washed rubber roll 6 rotates, and the ink remaining on the convex portions on the embossing roll is washed one after another, so that the embossed portion of the same color is always printed. Moreover, since the ink printed on the embossed portion is a quick-drying type, it is possible to immediately stack printed substrates.

In FIG. 2, the gravure ink 2 ′ is injected between the metal roll 3 ′ and the rubber roll 4, and the amount of ink embossed protrusion adhesion is adjusted by the gap between the metal roll 3 ′ and the rubber roll 4. The ink remaining on the rubber roll 4 is scraped off with a doctor blade 1 ', and the ink on the rubber roll 4 is always replaced with new ink,
The printing effect on the printed substrate is improved.

When a curable dry type enamel paint such as an acrylic urethane resin enamel paint is used as the undercoat paint, it is cured in a hot-air drying oven, and after the plate surface temperature is lowered, the embossing simultaneous printing machine is used to apply urethane. The curable gravure ink is printed and colored with a wood grain pattern embossing pattern. In this case, since the undercoat paint and the embossed ink are both curable, it is not necessary to further apply the topcoat paint.

When an evaporative drying type coating such as a lacquer enamel coating is used as the undercoating coating, it is dried in a hot air drying oven and then a wood grain embossing pattern is printed and colored with an evaporation drying type vinyl resin gravure ink. Finally, a hard-drying acrylic urethane resin clear paint or the like is top-coated with a roll coater coater, and dried with hot air to finish, whereby the decorative wood grain decorative board with a natural woody feel of the present invention can be obtained.

The expression of the embossed feeling can be deepened. Therefore, the appearance close to that of natural wood can be emphasized more than before. Coloring of the concave portion of the wood grain pattern can be freely performed, that is, the hue of the concave portion can be variously changed, and the variety of color selection of the same decorative paper decorative plate can be widened.

Ink adheres to the convex portion of the embossing roll,
Since the decorative paper is provided with flexibility, the decorative paper is less torn during emboss printing. It is not necessary to perform a base treatment such as a solvent resistance treatment by coating with a sealer or the like at the time of emboss printing. Since only the embossed part is printed, the ink in the non-printed part is not dissolved.
