いるイチョウの木(Ginkgo biloba L,)について研究を
進めた結果、イチョウの葉の抽出物に種々の有害生物に
対する忌避作用のあることを見いだした。さらに同抽出
物中に含まれる6−アルケニルサリチル酸類や、ギンコ
ライド,ビロバリド等のテルペン類が、忌避作用の原因
物質であることをつきとめた。即ち、本発明はイチョウ
葉抽出物を有効成分として含有する有害生物忌避剤を提
供するものである。
