2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional method for manufacturing a decorative board of this type, a printed decorative base paper such as titanium paper on which a pattern layer such as wood grain is formed is laminated on a substrate such as plywood by an adhesive through a press. Further, the unsaturated polyester resin is applied to the entire upper surface of the printed decorative base paper having the above-mentioned pattern layer, and then the resin is cured by allowing to stand under heating to produce a decorative board. But,
Unsaturated polyester resins have the drawback that the curing reaction is hindered by oxygen in the air, so even if the interior is exposed to air, the surface may come in contact with air, but the curing may be delayed and the tackiness may remain for a long time, or the surface hardness may increase. Is insufficient, the surface is whitened when exposed to water, adhesiveness is caused by heat, and the resistance to chemicals and organic solvents is greatly reduced.

Conventionally, in order to solve such a drawback, a method of adding a wax to an unsaturated polyester resin or a physical method of covering a surface of a cured product with a synthetic resin sheet so as not to come into contact with air during curing has been proposed. Has been adopted. However, since the wax remains on the surface of the molded product in the former method, it is necessary to perform processing such as buffing and sanding, and it is also necessary to adjust the amount of wax added and the type of wax depending on the conditions of use. There is a drawback that it takes time. In the latter method, the synthetic resin sheet on the surface cannot be peeled off until the unsaturated polyester resin is cured. Therefore, it takes time to peel off the synthetic resin sheet. It is necessary to prepare a large amount of the body, and in terms of equipment space, a large space is required, so production efficiency is poor, and there is also a method of curing in a heated state to shorten the curing time, but in this case However, there is a problem that heating equipment is required and the water content of the wooden substrate decreases due to the heating, so that the decorative board is warped.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, a method for producing a polyester decorative board of the present invention comprises applying an adhesive on a decorative board substrate, and applying a pattern layer on the adhesive. Laminated makeup base paper on which the picture layer is formed, the air-drying non-wax unsaturated polyester resin is applied on the upper surface of the picture layer, and then a synthetic resin film is formed.
In the process of laminating the sheet-shaped support so as to be in contact with the air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin and curing the same, the sheet-like support is formed when the surface of the air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin is solidified. The support is peeled off, and the polyester decorative plates from which the sheet-like support is peeled off are stacked and cured.

In the above-mentioned method for producing a polyester decorative board of the present invention, since the air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin is used as the unsaturated polyester resin, the surface of the air-drying type unsaturated polyester resin is solidified. At this point, the sheet-shaped supports can be peeled off and the decorative plates can be piled up, so there is less equipment space and a small amount of sheet-shaped supports, making it easy to handle small-lot production.

Next, the air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin 6 is applied onto the printing base paper 4 and impregnated,
It is formed by curing. When the unsaturated polyester resin liquid is applied and impregnated and then cured, a so-called non-wax type unsaturated polyester resin is applied, which has no effect of oxygen curing inhibition and can be surface-dried without using wax. Examples of the method include methods such as modification of the acid component in the unsaturated alkyd, modification of the glycol component in the unsaturated alkyd, modification of the monomer in the unsaturated alkyd, addition of a thermoplastic resin, and the like. This is due to the modification of the glycol component in the saturated alkyd. Unsaturated polyester resins, in which allyl ethers are used as a glycol component in combination with other glycols or used alone, exhibit extremely good air-curing properties, and are physically hard and wear resistant. Rich in heat resistance, weather resistance, and chemical resistance. A polymerization initiator and, if necessary, a polymerization accelerator are added to the resin liquid before use.

The polymerization initiator may be added in an amount of 0.5 to 3% by weight with respect to the resin, and a peroxide such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, benzoyl peroxide or hydroperoxide, or azobisisobutyronitrile may be added. The above-mentioned radical initiator is appropriately selected and used. Examples of the polymerization accelerator include cobalt compounds such as cobalt naphthenate, metal compounds such as vanadium compounds and manganese compounds, and amine compounds such as dimethylaniline, which are 0.1 to 2.0% by weight of the resin. It is preferable to add it. Further, a compound having a vinyl group such as a styrene monomer may be used for the purpose of crosslinking the resin and adjusting the viscosity, and may be added so as to account for 10 to 40% by weight of the resin liquid.

When the resin liquid is applied, impregnated and cured, the surface is covered with a synthetic resin film 7. This smoothes the surface after applying the resin liquid, facilitates roller application for making the coating film thickness uniform, and prevents foreign matter such as dust from adhering to the surface. The synthetic resin film 7 to be used may be any conventionally known synthetic resin film, for example, a polyester film such as polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate or a polyolefin film such as polyethylene or polypropylene, an ethylene / vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyvinyl chloride, A vinyl resin film such as vinylon, a silicone go film, or the like is used, and it is preferable that it has good releasability from an air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin cured product. The thickness of the synthetic resin film 7 is usually 25 to 10
Around 0 μm is often used. In addition, when the finish of the film surface is glossy and matte, and when the unevenness pattern is formed on the film surface, the cured unsaturated polyester resin surface is glossy, matte, and uneven pattern is formed. You can do it.

As a method for producing the polyester decorative board 1, as shown in FIG. 2, an adhesive 3 is applied on a substrate 2 and a base paper 4 for makeup is laminated on it by a press. Next, the air-drying non-wax unsaturated polyester resin 6 is applied to the surface of the base paper 4 for cosmetics, the synthetic resin film 7 is covered, and the surface is squeezed by a roller to deaerate the air and the surface is smoothed and then left for a while. Then, when the surface of the air-drying non-wax unsaturated polyester resin 6 is solidified, the synthetic resin film 7 is peeled off. The decorative plate from which the synthetic resin film 7 has been peeled off is removed from the production line and completely cured in a stacked state.

The time until the synthetic resin film 7 is peeled off is appropriately determined according to the type of the unsaturated polyester resin selected, the standing temperature and the like. Usually, in order to fully cure the resin and bring out the physical properties sufficiently, it is preferable to peel off the synthetic resin film 7 when the resin is sufficiently cured to the surface. For example, when using a normal unsaturated polyester resin, Generally, it is 15 to 20 minutes, but when an air-drying type non-wax unsaturated polyester resin is used, the surface of the synthetic resin film 7 is solidified in 7 to 8 minutes since the curing is sufficiently proceeded even in the presence of air. Can be peeled off
