歯部に、接続すべきトロリ線T1,T2の端部を突合わ
せ可能に両側から配置し、これを他方のイヤーE2で挾
持してボルトBで締めた。ところがトロリ線はドラムか
ら巻戻して使用するのでその端部にも曲がりくせが残っ
ており、両端面を正常位置で歯部になじませるのは容易
でない。またトロリ線の突合わせ端面は、切断後に仕上
げ加工をするものの、切削バリや加工誤差などによって
切断方向へ凸起が生じるので、両線突合わせ端面の歯部
は切欠いて適当な隙間を設けておくことが必要である。
この隙間位置に合わせて左右トロリ線を同時に締付ける
のは、極めて困難な作業となっている。一見簡単と思わ
