Conventionally, the commonly used branching work for covered wires for power distribution is to simply remove a predetermined amount of the covering portion of the covered wire using a peeling tool, and then attach a branch to the exposed wire body with the covered portion removed. The wire portions of the covered wires must be entwined to make branch connections, which is extremely troublesome work. Of course, in this case, the power must be turned off, and from this point of view as well, an inefficient branching method is adopted.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention provides a simple branching clamp that can branch a covered electric wire by simply pinching it.

Reference numeral 1 designates a pair of branch clamp bodies made of an insulating material such as hard PVC and having main line receiving grooves 2 and branch line receiving grooves 3 on both sides parallel to each other. The two clamp parts 1a and 1b are fitted together with two receiving holes 4b arranged in the center of the other clamp part 1b, with two mortise and tenon shaft parts 4a protruding from the front and back for the tenon fitting 4. It is said that Reference numeral 5 designates connection plates for connecting conductors at three locations at front, rear, and center positions between the main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line receiving groove 3 of each of the clamp parts 1a and 1b, and are formed protruding from both ends of the connecting plate 5. A plurality of biting teeth 6 are installed in the main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line receiving groove 3 so as to protrude inwardly, respectively, by being partially embedded. 7 is each branch line receiving groove 3 of the clamp parts 1a and 1b.

To explain this function, first, when branching the covered wire, the clamp parts 1a and 1b of the combined clamp body 1 are separated by removing the tightening bolt 12 passing through the center.
Among these, the clamp part 1a on the side from which the branch line 16 is drawn out
Alternatively, use pliers or the like to cut out the closing piece 7 that stands up perpendicularly at the end of the branch line receiving groove 3 of the clamp part 1b to open the opening b.

Here, one main body is the clamp part 1.
Attach the desired position of the main wire 15, which will become a covered electric wire, to part 2 of the main line receiving groove a, and similarly, place the end of the branch wire 16, which will become a covered electric wire, to part 3 of the branch line receiving groove parallel to the main line receiving groove 2. Guide from the opening b side. Under this condition, the clamp part 1b, which becomes the other lid, is inserted into the receiving hole 4b with the centrally located mortise and tenon shaft part 4a.
Fit them together to form a closed lid, and then screw the tip of the tightening bolt 12 inserted into the clamp part 1b into the screw hole 9 of the seat 8 on the clamp part 1a side and tighten. This pair of clamp parts 1a, 1
Since b is tightly sandwiched, the main line 15 in each main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line 16 in the branch line receiving groove 3
The biting teeth 6, 6 of the orthogonal connecting plates 5 penetrate the respective coating layers 15a, 16a, and the central electric wire portion 15b,
16b, and the left and right main lines 15 and branch lines 16 are in a connected state. Of course, in this case, each biting tooth 6 has a pointed structure with a length reaching the electric wire portions 15b and 16b. In addition, the branch line receiving groove 3 is formed with an arc slightly narrower in width than the arc of the main line receiving groove 2 because the branch line 16 generally uses an electric wire that is slightly thinner than the main line 15. Even if there is a section, the one on the branch line side is formed to be slightly smaller than the biting tooth 6 section on the main line side.

That is, the main line receiving groove 2 of the clamp body 1 is directed to the main line 15 part, the branch line 16 is guided to the branch line receiving groove 3 of the clamp body 1, the tightening bolt 12 is tightened, and the pair of clamp parts 1a, 1b, the biting teeth 6, 6 of the connecting plate 5, which is spanned between the main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line receiving groove 3 on each side,

Figures 8 to 10 show another embodiment, which is used for relatively thin coated wires. That is, in this case, the clamp parts 1a, 1
Since b is small, only two connecting plates 5 are required, and one tightening bolt 12 is used. Of course, as described above, this connecting plate 5 is inserted between the main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line receiving groove 3 of one clamp part 1a of the clamp body 1, and the main line receiving groove 2 and the branch line receiving groove 3 of the clamp part 1b, respectively. It becomes.

At this time, when in use, the closing piece 7 on the drawer side at the end of the branch line receiving groove 3 is bent to guide the branch line 16, and the main line 15 is guided into the main line receiving groove 2, and in this state, the pair of clamps are It is sufficient to align the parts 1a and 1b and insert and tighten the tightening bolt 12. In this case, the biting teeth 6 are sized to fit the thin wire.

As mentioned above, the present invention has a connecting plate with biting teeth formed at both ends, which is inserted between the main line receiving groove and the branch line receiving groove, which are provided parallel to each other in a pair of split clamp bodies. The configuration is such that a tightening bolt is arranged, and the branch of the covered electric wire is simply guided directly to the main line receiving groove of the clamp body, and the branch line is guided to the branch line receiving groove and passed through the tightening bolt. Just by tightening the connection plate, the biting teeth of the connection plate will automatically bite into each electric wire and make a branch connection. Of course, in this case, the main line is pulled out at both ends of the main line receiving groove, the main line receiving groove opening is blocked by the main line itself, and the receiving groove is coated with a compound that is applied to the groove, and the branch line receiving groove is in contact with the main line. Since a blockage piece remains at the non-pulled end, the branch line receiving groove opening is blocked by the branch line itself, and the compound adheres tightly, allowing rainwater to enter the clamp body.
There is no intrusion of obstacles such as dust. Furthermore, the pair of clamp bodies are held together using a mortise-and-tenon fitting structure that prevents sliding at the part that passes through the tightening bolt, so both clamp parts are parallel to each other and narrow when tightening with the tightening bolt. Therefore, the biting teeth into the coated electric wire, together with the configuration in which the protruding shape of the biting teeth faces the center, reliably face the core of the coated electric wire, allowing connection without malfunction (non-contact). Moreover, since the connection between the main line and the branch line is made by biting teeth of a plurality of connecting plates from the upper and lower directions, once they are engaged, there is no risk of them loosening or separating during use. Moreover, the best feature of this invention is that there is no need to peel off the insulated wire members for both the main line and the branch line, so you can work on live wires without turning off the power when branching work, and it is possible to work on live wires. A one-touch operation is required for only combinations, and from this point of view as well, it has practical effects such as making branching work more efficient.
