Pipe jumper devices for overhead power lines are generally
The structure is as shown in the figure. 11 is a steel tower arm, 12 is a tensile glass ream, 13 is a power transmission line, 14 is a jumper wire, 15 is a pipe conductor, and 16 is a hanging material. In such a pipe jumper device, if the pipe conductor 15 is too long to be transported, it is manufactured separately into two parts 15a and 15b.
The equipment is transported and connected on-site. In this case, therefore, a connection 17 is created in the middle of the pipe conductor 15. Since this connection part 17 requires large rigidity and current capacity, it is preferable to make the connection by welding, but there are cases where welding is not possible on power transmission lines that pass through mountainous areas because it is difficult to transport welding equipment. In many cases, mechanical connections between pipe conductors are required.

That is, the connecting fittings 18a, 18b are welded to the ends of the pipe conductors 15a, 15b to be connected, respectively. This welding is done at the factory. 19a and 19b are the welded parts. The connecting fittings 18a, 18b have flat contact surfaces 20a, 20b formed in the axial direction of the pipe, and at the site, the contact surfaces 20a, 20b are brought together and a bolt/nut 21 is used to tighten the connection.

However, since the pipe jumper device and pipe bus are always energized, it is not possible to check for loose bolts, and if they are left loose, the contact between the connecting fittings will deteriorate, resulting in overheating due to the current and melting. There is a risk of losses occurring.

The present invention provides a pipe conductor connecting fitting that solves the problems of the prior art as described above, and its configuration is such that the fittings are welded and fixed to the ends of the pipe conductors to be connected, and then tightened and connected to each other. One of the pair of connecting fittings has a cut that is wider on the base side than the tip side from the tip to the base, and the other fitting has a shape that fits into the cut. The insert piece is characterized in that the insert piece is thicker on the tip side than on the base side.

After welding the base of the other fitting to the end of the other pipe conductor (this point is the same as before),
This is done by sliding the insertion piece of the other connecting fitting into the cutout of one connecting fitting in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the pipe conductor, and then tightening this part with a bolt and nut. Since tension is always acting on the connection part of the pipe conductor, when the cut and the insertion piece of the above structure are fitted, the hooking surfaces of both connection fittings will be pressed against each other by the tension, Even if the bolt/nut loosens due to vibration, etc., the connection state can be maintained.

1 and 2 show an embodiment of the present invention. This pipe conductor connecting fitting consists of a pair of connecting fittings 18a and 18b, each connecting fitting 1.
8a, 18b are insertion portions 22a, 22b into the pipe conductor and welded portions 23 with the pipe conductor on the base side.
a, 23b. A cutout 24 is formed in one of the connection fittings 18a from the tip toward the base, and an insertion piece 25 that fits into the cutout 24 is formed in the other connection fitting 18b.
As shown in FIG. 1, the slit 24 has a constant width from the mouth (the tip side of the metal fitting) to a predetermined depth, and is wider at the back (the base side). The insertion piece 25 has a shape that fits into the cutout 24 without any gap,
That is, the thickness is thick on the distal end side, and the thickness is thinner and constant from the middle part to the proximal end side. Note that 26a and 26b are bolt holes.

る。 This pipe conductor connection fitting is one connection fitting 1.
8a is to be connected to one pipe conductor, and the other connecting fitting 18b is previously welded to the other pipe conductor, and after combining at the construction site so that the cutout 24 and the insertion piece 25 fit together, It is connected by tightening with bolts and nuts. Tension is applied to this connection, but the tip of the insertion piece 25 is caught in the deep part of the slit 24 and cannot be pulled out, so even if the bolt/nut is loosened, the connection will be maintained. It is something that can be maintained.

As explained above, according to the present invention, a pair of connecting fittings to be welded and fixed to the end of a pipe conductor are formed by forming a slit in one connecting fitting that is wider on the base side than on the tip side, and on the other side. Since the structure is such that the connection is made by fitting into the insert piece that is thicker on the tip side than on the base side and that fits into the above-mentioned cut formed in the metal fitting, there is no cut and cut in the axial direction of the pipe conductor. A hook is created with the insertion piece, and the hook surfaces are pressed against each other by tension.
Therefore, even if the bolt/nut loosens due to vibrations caused by wind, etc., the connected state can be maintained, and there is an advantage that overheating and melting damage of the pipe conductor connection area can be prevented.
