Abstract

PURPOSE:To evaluate a cleaning effect by measuring the quantity of light from a light source lamp which passes through a pressure sensitive adhesive tape to which dust or the like adheres and a no dust pressure sensitive adhesive tape, respectively, and substituting the respective values in a specified expression. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensitive adhesive tape 5 is stuck to the cleaned inner surface of an air duct, and subsequently, an application roller is forced to run on a tape 5 to make dust remaining in an air conditioning duct adhere to the tape 5. After that, the tape 5 is separated. Subsequently, a tape holder 3 is pulled out from a casing 1, and after the tape 5 which gathers dust is stuck to the transparent window 3a surface, the holder 3 is again inserted in the casing 1. Subsequently, a light source lamp 2 is lighted to investigate the quantity of light transmitted through the tape 5, and the quantity of light and the quantity of light transmitted through a previously investigated unused no-dust tape 5 are substituted in the following expression: T=A /BX100%=C/DX100% to obtain a cleaning effect exponent. A = light transmittance of a pressure sensitive adhesive tape to which dust adheres, B = light transmittance of no dust tape, C = illuminance of sensor part when a dust tape is stuck, D = illuminance of sensor part when a no dust tape is stuck. If the value T is 85% or more, cleaing is considered to be completed.

Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention mainly relates to a method for evaluating the cleaning effect of an air conditioning duct. 2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, remodeling of buildings built during the high growth period has been actively carried out, and as a part of this, cleaning of air conditioning ducts has come to the forefront, and how the cleaning effect is evaluated. The issue is whether or not to do this, but the method for objectively measuring this cleaning effect has not yet been proposed. It is desirable that the evaluation of the cleaning effect can be carried out immediately on site, and for that purpose, the following five conditions must be satisfied. 1. The judgment method has been fully verified. 2. The quality of the cleaning effect can be immediately determined. 3. The measurement method should be simple. 4. There are no individual differences in the measurement results. 5. Be unaffected by the surrounding environment (especially weather conditions). It is an object of the present invention to provide a cleaning effect evaluation method satisfying such conditions. In order to achieve such an object, the present invention adheres a transparent or semi-transparent adhesive tape to the cleaning end surface and then peels it off to leave it on the cleaning end surface. Dust or the like is adhered to the adhesive tape, and the light amount from the light source lamp passing through the adhesive tape to which the dust or the like is adhered and the dust-free adhesive tape are measured, and each value is calculated by the formula T = A / B × 100.
%, And the value T is 85% or more, and it is evaluated that the cleaning is completed. However, A = light transmittance of the adhesive tape having dust adhered thereto B = light transmittance of the dustless adhesive tape According to the cleaning effect evaluation method having the above-described structure, An adhesive tape is attached to the inner surface of the air-conditioning duct cleaned by jetting or the like, and dust remaining after cleaning is attached to the adhesive tape. Then, the adhesive tape is peeled off, the light of the lamp is applied, and the amount of light passing through the adhesive tape is read as the measurement value Lx of the illuminance meter. This measured value Lx is compared with the previously measured measured value Lo of the dust-free adhesive tape, and the measured value Lx
Is greater than 85% of the measured value Lo, it is considered that cleaning has been completed. The method of the present invention will be described with reference to the apparatus shown in the drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a casing, in which a halogen lamp 2 is provided on an upper portion thereof, and a plate-shaped aluminum tape holder 3 having a window 3a is provided at an intermediate portion thereof. A commercially available illuminance meter 4 is provided below it. The tape holder 3 has a transparent or semi-transparent adhesive tape 5 as a transparent or semi-transparent sample tape to which dust or the like from an air-conditioning duct (not shown) is attached on the window surface, and an insertion opening formed in the middle portion of the casing 1. It is detachable via 1a. The sensor portion 4a of the illuminance meter 4 is inserted through the opening 1b formed in the lower portion of the casing 1.
The halogen lamp 2, the transparent window 3a, and the sensor portion 4a of the illuminance meter 4 are vertically opposed to each other. In the figure, 6 is a power cord of the halogen lamp 2 and 4b is a measurement window of the illuminance meter 4. Next, the procedure of the method for evaluating the cleaning effect using this will be described. First, the residual dust after cleaning the air conditioning duct is collected by the adhesive tape 5, and the method is carried out in accordance with the adhesive tape and adhesive sheet test method (JISZO237). First, the adhesive tape 5 (Sumitomo 3M Mending tape No. 810 manufactured by the company) is attached to the inner surface of the air duct after cleaning, and then a 2 kg pressure roller is reciprocated 5 times to run on the adhesive tape 5 to the adhesive tape 5 in the air conditioning duct. The remaining dust is attached, and then the adhesive tape 5 is peeled off by a 180 ° peeling method. Next, the tape holder 3 is pulled out from the casing 1, and the adhesive tape 5 having the dust collected on its window surface.
After the tape is attached, the tape holder 3 is reinserted into the casing 1. Finally, the halogen lamp 2 is turned on, the amount of light transmitted through the adhesive tape 5 from which dust is collected is examined, and the amount of light transmitted through the unused dust-free adhesive tape 5 which has been examined in the same manner in advance. And T = A / B × 100% = C /
Substitute for D × 100% to obtain the cleaning effect index. However, A = light transmittance of the adhesive tape with dust attached B = light transmittance of the dust-free adhesive tape C = illuminance D of the sensor unit when attached to the window surface of the adhesive tape with dust attached = Illuminance of the sensor portion when the dust-free adhesive tape is attached to the window surface If the value T is 85% or more, it can be considered that the cleaning is completed. This is because the inventor repeatedly adheres the adhesive tape 5 to the same location after cleaning and peels it off, and the light transmittance of the adhesive tape 5 is measured each time, and the above formula is used. As shown in FIG. 3, there was almost no change when the value calculated by the above equation was about 85%. This means that the value calculated by the above equation is about 85%, the dust remaining on the cleaning end surface is almost eliminated, and as a result, the dust adhering to the adhesive tape 5 is also almost eliminated, and the value obtained by the above equation also hardly changes. You can judge that When the method of the present invention is used, a sample can be prepared by an extremely simple operation of pressing the sample against the cleaning surface and then peeling it off under a predetermined operation using an adhesive tape. It is possible to apply the light of a lamp to this, and the light transmittance through the adhesive tape and the light transmittance through the dust-free adhesive tape that has been measured in advance are calculated by substituting them into a mathematical formula. Can make an objective assessment of cleaning effectiveness, and
According to the method of the present invention, this evaluation can be easily performed on site.
