2. Description of the Related Art Generally, automobile interior parts are often composed of a multi-layer molded article in which various surface materials are laminated on the surface of a base material layer made of a thermoplastic resin. In order to prevent the peeling of the skin material because the appearance is particularly important in terms of the character of the product, the terminal portion 102 of the skin material H is placed at a predetermined position as shown in FIGS. 16 (A) and 16 (B). It was cut by the above method, folded back to the back side of the base material 101, adhered with an adhesive or the like, or joined by stapling or the like to maintain the appearance as a product and prevent the peeling of the skin material.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since one of the molds is provided with a pin slidably disposed at a predetermined position on the end side so as to project into the cavity, the pin is used as a skin. The material is pierced and penetrated to make a hole. Then, since the protrusions project into the cavity in the mold facing the mold in which the pins are arranged, when the mold material is clamped and the skin material and the synthetic resin supplied to the back surface of the skin are compression-molded, the skin The material end is pushed by the protrusion and embedded in the synthetic resin, and a bead-shaped end is formed in which the boundary line with the skin material part is beautifully provided in the appearance of the product.

According to the third and fourth aspects of the present invention, the synthetic resin is injected from the hole formed by the retreat of the pin after cutting the skin material, and the resin is supplied to the front surface side of the skin material terminal to form the skin. The second compression molding step of recompressing the synthetic resin supplied to the material end is performed, so that the surface side of the skin material end is surely covered with the resin to form the bead-shaped end. Further, since the molten synthetic resin is supplied separately, only the terminal portion can be made of a synthetic resin different in material from the synthetic resin serving as the base material, and the appearance can be further improved.

In the present invention, the molten synthetic resin is supplied with the end of the skin material H being pierced by the pin 22.
Due to the presence of the pin 42, the hole penetrating the skin material H is closed to form a hole for the synthetic resin J1 necessary for the subsequent process, and the skin material shrinks due to the heat of the supplied molten synthetic resin J. Prevents the skin material H from being drawn inward of the cavity C.

Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 5, the first mold 30 and the second mold 30
The die 40 is clamped and the skin material H and the molten synthetic resin J1 are compression molded (first compression molding step). At this time, the pin 42 remains protruding and closes the hole formed in the skin material H as described above, so that the synthetic resin J1 flows out to the surface side of the skin material H during the first compression molding step. There is no such thing. Further, the core 32 descends as it enters the cavity,
The skin material is supported so as to make a gap between the skin material H and the synthetic resin J1 at the edge of the cavity. In this state, it is held until the synthetic resin J1 is cured to some extent.

Then, as shown in FIG. 12, the first die 50 and the second die 50
When the mold 60 is clamped and compression-molded, the end of the skin material is extruded into the cavity by the tip 23 of the protruding pin 53, so that the end 81 of the molded product 80 shown in FIGS. It is embedded in the resin and the terminal 81
Has a beaded shape and has a good appearance. In addition, since the end of the skin material H is embedded in the resin at the same time as molding, there is no concern that the skin material will peel off during use as a product.
It eliminates the need for terminal post-treatment as in the past and allows the adhesive to be expelled from the work environment, streamlining the work process and reducing costs.

According to the invention of claim 1 of the present application, a step of cutting the skin terminal with a mold, a step of projecting a pin from one mold into the cavity and piercing the skin terminal, and penetrating the skin terminal. Since the step of clamping and compression molding and retracting the pin from the inside of the cavity is provided, the cut skin end is punched by the pin. Then, when the molds are clamped, the molten synthetic resin flows out from this hole to the surface side of the skin material, and the skin material is embedded in the synthetic resin at the terminal portion to form a bead-shaped terminal.

According to the third and fourth aspects of the present invention, the synthetic resin is injected from the hole formed by the retreat of the pin after the cut of the skin material, and the resin is supplied to the surface side of the skin material end, The second compression molding step of recompressing the synthetic resin supplied to the material end is performed, so that the surface side of the skin material end is surely covered with the resin to form the bead-shaped end. Further, since the molten synthetic resin is supplied separately, only the terminal portion can be made of a synthetic resin different in material from the synthetic resin serving as the base material, and the appearance can be further improved.

According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, since the concave portion is formed in the mold at the predetermined position on the end side and the concave portion is formed with the projecting portion projecting into the cavity, the skin material terminal is projected. Even if the tip end of the portion pushes the inside of the cavity and the synthetic resin as the base material is pressed and filled, the end of the skin material is embedded in the resin and a bead-shaped end is formed.

As described above, according to the present invention, the end portion of a molded product having a skin is provided with a good appearance, the use of an adhesive is eliminated, the working environment is improved, and the post-treatment after molding is unnecessary. Work efficiency can be improved, and there is no fear of peeling of the skin material, and the material of the synthetic resin used as the skin material or the base material can be selected regardless of its adhesiveness. You can freely use excellent materials.
