Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform uniform and firm brazing and interjoining of a face sheet and a honeycomb core and the face sheet and a profile by a method wherein a double-sided brazing sheet is located between the face sheet and the profile. CONSTITUTION:A core material is cut to given width and bent and brought into an overlapped state to form a honeycomb core 1. A profile 4 of aluminum is disposed to the side end part of the core 1. A double-sided brazing sheet 6 is located between the face sheets 2 and 3, arranged above and below, and the profile 4 and assembled in the shape of a honeycomb panel. The assembled honeycomb panels are laminated and constrained by a jig and charged in a vacuum furnace and heated to temperature higher than the melt point of a brazing material to effect brazing. Through a heating and brazing work, brazing layers 5 of the face sheets 2 and 3 are molten. The brazing material remains throughout a sufficient width between the face sheet 2 and the core 1 and the face sheet 3 and the core 1 to form a brazed part.
