するように工夫した給水及び給湯ヘッダーに適用され

ーハンマー現象とは、一定の速度で流体が流れている時
に、水道栓や自動弁を瞬時に閉じると、流体の速度も瞬
時に零となり、流体の持っていた運動エネルギーは、流
体の圧力上昇と管の弾性エネルギーに転換され、この速
度零と圧力上昇の状態が順次配管を上流側に進んで行
き、圧力波となってその点と反射点を往復し、次第に減
衰し、この時、大きな音を複数回発生する現象のことで
ある。このウォーターハンマー現象が発生すると、特に
高層集合住宅の場合には、例えばパイプシャフト内にこ
の音が反響して、建物全体に広がり、居住環境を悪化す
る。2. 果、ウォーターハンマー現象は発生しない、又は発生し
