Therefore, dehumidification operation is performed to prevent discomfort and keep a comfortable indoor environment. There are many things that I try to do. As shown in FIG. 3, the indoor unit of the air conditioner includes a suction port 2 in the upper front portion,
A heat exchanger 5 having an upright portion on the front side and a rearwardly inclined portion mounted on the upright portion is arranged in an air passage 4 connecting an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 of a housing 1 having an outlet 3 at a lower front portion. , The same heat exchanger 5
A cross-flow fan 6 is arranged behind the upright portion of the above, and the air outlet 3 is provided with two wind direction control plates 7a and 7b. In order to perform the dehumidifying operation, as shown in FIG. 3 (A), the upright portion on the front side and the half of the front surface and the upper surface of the heat exchanger 5 on which the rear slanted portion is mounted are placed on the evaporator 5a and the rear surface. The lower surface is formed as a reheater 5b, the sucked indoor air is cooled and condensed by the evaporator 5a, and heated by the reheater 5b to dehumidify without changing the air temperature. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3 (B), the heat exchanger 5 provided upright on the front side is an evaporator 5a, and the heat exchanger 5 provided on the front side and inclined rearward is a reheater 5b. It has been proposed that the sucked indoor air is separately cooled and condensed by the evaporator 5a, and the air heated by the reheater 5b is mixed in the air passage 4 to dehumidify without changing the air temperature. However, in these dehumidifying operations, the dehumidified air blown out from the air outlet 3 has a low humidity, and when it comes into direct contact with human skin, it gives a cold sensation and rather feels cold.

In which a heat exchanger and a cross flow fan are arranged, and an air flow direction control plate is provided at the air outlet, and an air flow direction guide is provided between the cross flow fan and the air flow direction control plate in the air passage. It is characterized by that. Further, the wind direction guide that curves backward along the air passage is provided at a position that vertically divides the space between the blower and the two wind direction control plates.

ことができる。According to the present invention, in the dehumidifying operation, the indoor air sucked from the suction port at the upper front portion of the housing is cooled to one side by the cooled air condensed by the evaporator installed upright on the front side. ,
On the other hand, the air heated by the upper reheater is not mixed in the cross flow fan except for a part thereof and forms a laminar flow and flows to the air outlet on the lower front side. By holding the laminar flow up to the outlet by the wind direction guide provided between the cross flow fan and the two wind direction control plates provided at the air outlet, the upper air direction control plate is directed forward and the lower air direction control plate is directed downward. The dehumidifying operation can be performed by blowing cool air forward and warm air downward so that cool air does not directly contact the human skin.

To the evaporator 5a, the heat exchanger 5 provided on the evaporator 5a inclined rearward to serve as the reheater 5b, the crossflow fan 6 is arranged to the rear of the evaporator 5a, and the blower outlet is provided at the lower front portion of the housing 1. 3 is provided, and the air outlet 3 is provided with two wind direction control plates 7a and 7b to form an indoor unit during dehumidification operation. During dehumidifying operation,
One of the sucked indoor air is cooled and condensed by the evaporator 5a and the other is heated by the reheater 5b, so that the air layer dehumidified by cooling and the air layer heated backward are sucked into the crossflow fan 6. Be done. In the cross-flow fan 6, mixing occurs at the boundary between the cooled air layer and the heated air layer, but the heated air layer accelerates through the rear outer peripheral portion of the cross flow fan 6 and the cooling air layer passes through the central portion. The air passage 4 between the cross flow fan 6 and the wind direction control plates 7a and 7b
Is discharged while maintaining a laminar flow. In the center of this air passage, along the flow path, an air flow direction guide 8 formed in a backward curved shape is provided, and the heated air layer discharged from the cross flow fan 6 is located below and the cooling air layer is located above. With the flow kept, the upper wind direction control plate 7a is directed forward and the lower wind direction control plate 7b is directed downward so that the cooled air is blown forward and the warm air is blown downward. Note that, in FIG. 2, the functions of the evaporator 5a and the condenser 5c and the vertical airflow direction control plate 7 during cooling and heating.
The optimum directions of a and 7b are shown.

うことができる。As described above, according to the present invention, in the dehumidifying operation, one of the indoor air sucked from the suction port at the upper front surface of the housing is the evaporator installed upright on the front surface side. The cooled condensed air and the air heated by the upper reheater on the other side form a laminar flow and are mixed in the crossflow fan except for a part of the air, but the laminar flow is maintained and the air blown under the front surface is blown. It flows to the exit. Therefore, the laminar flow is maintained up to the outlet by the air flow guide provided between the cross flow fan and the two air flow control plates provided at the air outlet, and the upper air flow control plate is directed forward and the lower air flow control plate is directed downward. This makes it possible to perform a comfortable dehumidifying operation in which the cool air is blown forward and the warm air is blown downward to prevent the cool air from directly contacting the human skin.
