Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve conservation to such an extent that energy loss due to flowing out of cold air following getting food stuffs in and out of a refrigerator can be nearly ignored. CONSTITUTION:Small boxes 5 with a mark containing foodstuffs are arranged vertically and horizontally on racks 4 which are provided equidistantly in a refrigerator, leaving no space between them but leaving the floors of small window chambers 6 on each rack open. Each of the small boxes 5 is taken out by, for example, magnetic levitation, linearization or air blowing in such a manner that wherever it is on the rack 4, it is guided to one of the chambers 6 by moving successively the row of the boxes 5 in an optimum manner utilizing floors of empty chambers 6 and the small window of the chamber 6 is opened without allowing cold air to flow out of the refrigerator. A panel is provided on the front side of the refrigerator, wherein data display such as name of foodstuffs, location, storage date, etc., of each small box 5 with a mark and command and execution for small box to be taken out or stored are computerized. This system can be applied to refrigerators, vegetable storages, storages for bottles.
