ーアウターロアー14との重合部A′には断面U字状を成
すドアヒンジ16とヒンジブレース17とが当該重合部A′
を挟持する如くしてボルト18,18及びナット19,19にて三
枚締め状に締結されている。尚、フロントピラーインナ
ー12とフロントピラーアウター13,14との中間にはフロ
ントピラーの剛性を高めるためのレインフォース15が介
設されている。

レインフォース5の一部は外方へ折曲げられ、フロント
ピラーアウターアッパー,ロアー3,4側へ膨出してお
り、これの膨出部5aの裏面にはフロントピラーアウター
ロアー4の上端部4aが図示の如くスポット溶接にて接合
されて重合部Aが形成されている。尚、フロントピラー
アウターアッパー3の下端部はレインフォース5の膨出
部5a上端外面にスポット溶接にて結着されている。
