Conventionally, ruminants such as cows are said to be able to enhance appetite and save digestion by giving an appropriate amount of alcohol, and beer and the like are drunk in regions famous for breeding beef cattle.

As described above, it is believed that by giving alcohol to cows, it promotes the reproduction of excellent microorganisms in the first stomach of cows, and thus enhances the appetite of cows. Further, by taking an appropriate amount of alcohol, stress of cows is relieved and sleep can be well taken.

As a result, the cattle are fattened and their growth is promoted, and the meat quality is also marbling, so that delicious beef cattle can be obtained in a short period of time.

However, if beer is drunk as a means of feeding beef cattle with alcohol as described above, the cost is high, and there is a problem that it is not suitable for other than special beef cattle. Therefore, as another means, distilled lees as waste produced during the production of distilled liquor such as shochu are mixed with feed and given.

It is generally known that the yeast protein contained in a large amount in the distilled lees of shochu has properties intermediate between those of animals and plants and has a high nutritional value. Therefore, in order to utilize this, the distilled meal has been conventionally used as it is for beef cattle or mixed with rice straw, leftover rice and the like. As a result, the quality of the beef cattle that ingested the distiller's lees containing the yeast protein was improved, but there were problems such as the barn becoming dirty.

That is, as described above, since the distilled lees of shochu are a liquid containing water as a main component, the amount of urine discharged from beef cattle that consume the water is large, which causes the barn to become moist and contaminated.

In addition, it has a high nutritional value and contains a lot of water, so its storage is poor, causing mold and bacterial growth.
There is also a problem that the distillation dregs themselves and the feed mixed with the distillation dregs are altered.

First, 50% of cereals such as syrup, heated pressure valve syrup, milo, cassava, 45% of rice bran, rice bran, barley mixed bran, corn gluten feed, etc., and soybean oil meal, rapeseed oil meal etc. 1kg of basic feed consisting of 400ml of molasses is mixed and mixed so that the water content is 50%. Since this molasses is an induction base material for fermentation, the essential point is that it should contain sugar, but in this example, it is the residue after crystallizing and extracting sugar from the juice of sugar cane. However, it is a starch syrup-like substance that does not crystallize as sugar and contains a sufficient amount of sugar.

Next, a yeast for fermenting a mixture of the above-mentioned grains and molasses is prepared. This yeast utilizes Saccharomyces cerevisiao, which is used for brewing Awamori, which is a type of shochu. A thermotolerant strain is selected in advance from this yeast and pre-cultured to leave the yeast of this thermotolerant strain in a culture solution.

The alcohol-containing feed is completed when the fermentation is completed when the amount of alcohol produced in the feed is 3% to 5% as described above. The alcohol-containing feed thus completed is not a so-called liquor odor, but is a feed that emits a kind of aroma that seems to be good to humans. Thereafter, a predetermined amount of this is packed in a container such as a bag and stored.

The method of the comparative test is that the above-mentioned alcohol-containing feed and the conventional feed containing no molasses or yeast are housed and sealed in normal feed containers (polybags) at a temperature of 32 ° C and a humidity of 85. % And stored for 30 days.

After the above storage period (30 days), the organoleptic test revealed that the alcohol-containing feed had no change in color, scent, etc., and of course, no mold or the like was found. On the other hand, the conventional feed had a putrefactive odor and a mold, which was obviously putrefactive.

According to the present invention, as described in detail above, the alcohol-containing feed does not simply contain alcohol, but is composed by adding sugar and yeast to the feed itself and fermenting it. It is possible to obtain a feed having a good taste and fragrance that makes humans appetite even if it is in a soft and digestible state. For this reason, if this alcohol-containing feed is mixed with other feeds for beef cattle, or if it is given as it is, it will be suitable for the taste of beef cattle and the feed will be eaten well, for example, in the summer in hot regions such as Okinawa. Even when most of the beef cattle lost their appetite, the alcohol-containing feed of the present invention showed a strong appetite.

Further, according to the present invention, since the feed contains alcohol and does not contain excess water, the feed is not deteriorated in the container without spoilage, and it is not stored in a refrigerator or the like. It also has good economic effects.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, as described above, the feed emits a kind of aroma, is soft and easy to digest, and contains a large amount of yeast which is a high-quality protein. It is possible to obtain beef cattle of good meat quality with marbling as well as promotion of growth and fattening.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, as described above, since the feed contains an appropriate amount of alcohol, it promotes the function of the rumen of the beef cattle, activates the generation of protozoa in the stomach, and increases the appetite. increase. In addition, since the stress of beef cattle is relieved, sleep is improved, sleep is made sufficient, and the person becomes enthusiastic without being nervous during the daytime. Growth and fattening can be accelerated.

In addition, according to the present invention, a good feed as described above is obtained by using distilled molasses of shochu or processed molasses that is refined sugar as treated as industrial waste so as not to affect the natural environment. Since this is the most important factor in the change of luck, it has extremely beneficial effects for both the shochu manufacturing and beef cattle breeding industries.

Incidentally, the alcohol-containing feed according to the present invention not only has the effect of improving meat quality for beef cattle and promoting growth and fattening, but also has the effect of increasing the amount of milk even when given to dairy cows, Therefore, it is an extremely effective feed not only for beef cattle but also for dairy cattle.
