Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a package for a fluorescent display panel which can reduce a cost in wrapping materials and transportation and also which need not be handled as industrial waste. CONSTITUTION:An inner package of a fluorescent display panel package comprises adhesion of a corrugated board 1 with a plurality of punched holes 3 and a corrugated board 2 with punched holes 4 at positions corresponding to L-shaped lead terminals 9 of a fluorescent display panel 8. The corrugated board 1 has the plurality of the punched holes 3 for holding the fluorescent display panel 8. An allowance of 1m is added to length and width of the fluorescent display panel 8 as for fixing part 11 of the punched hole 3 for holding the fluorescent display panel 8, so that housing of the panel 8 is easy. The corrugated board 2 serves as a base for receiving the fluorescent display panel 8, wherein the lead terminal of the panel 8 has a punched hole 4 into which the L-shaped lead terminal 9 bent perpendicular to a panel surface is inserted. If the L-shaped lead terminal 9 is longer, the corrugated board 2 can be additionally adhered to easily cope with the longer terminal.

As described above, according to the present invention, the interior container made of polystyrene foam that holds the fluorescent display panel has been used as the base of the corrugated board, so that the packaging cost of the interior container, especially the mold cost is reduced. Since the thickness of polystyrene foam was 20 to 50 mm, the thickness of corrugated board was set to 3 to 8 mm, so that only the required number of layers were stacked, the packing size was reduced, and transportation costs were reduced. There is an effect that the storage space in the warehouse can be reduced by 20 to 30%.
