Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a pattern having a three-dimensional feeling by partially providing a magnetic powder-containing colored layer on the upper surface of a base sheet and forming the colored layer into a magnetic pattern by the action of magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic powder-containing liquid material 7 is applied or printed on the part of the upper surface of a base sheet 2 corresponding to the position of the magnet 1 fixed to the under surface of the base sheet 2 to form a magnetic powder-containing liquid film 3' which is, in turn, heated or dried at room temp. to obtain a magnetic powder-containing colored layer 3. Thereafter, a magnetic pattern is formed on the under surface of the base sheet 2 positioned at the same part as the colored layer 3 by the action of magnetic force. By this method, a magnetic pattern sheet having an excellent three-dimensional feeling showing a character or figure in an embossed state is obtained.

However, in the conventional method for forming a patterned coating film as described above, as shown in the sectional view 2, the magnetic powder is applied to the portion 5 where the magnetic force acts strongly from the periphery.
Moving in the direction of the arrow, there is a large amount of magnetic powder in the part 5,
There is a small amount in the periphery, and characters are formed due to the change (shading) of the amount of magnetic powder. For this reason, the formed characters do not have clear contours and are inferior in three-dimensional appearance. There was a point.

In the magnetic pattern forming method of the present invention, the magnetic pattern forming process obtained by the former method is performed, for example, by taking a cross section cut along the horizontal axis so as to pass through the center of the letter A in FIG. As schematically shown in FIG. 6A, when the magnetic force acts on the character, the magnetic powder material 6 moves from the inner side of the cross section (the vicinity of the outer circumference 9 and the center 11 of the inner circumference 13 of the character) to the outer side. A magnetic pattern is formed by moving and orienting in the direction of the arrow in (10 near the outer circumference of the character and 12 near the outer circumference of the character), and the film thickness in the outer direction rises thicker than the inner film thickness. To be done. The magnetic pattern formed in this way has a clear contour and is excellent in design with a three-dimensional appearance that appears as if it is raised or dented depending on the viewing angle. In the process of forming a magnetic pattern obtained by the latter method, for example, when the cross section of a character is schematically shown, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 6, a large amount of magnetic powder material is attracted toward the outer circumference 14 and the inner circumference 15 of the character. Then, a magnetic pattern is formed so that the portion attracted in a large amount rises. The magnetic pattern formed in this way has a clear contour and is excellent in design with a three-dimensional effect in which characters appear to be raised.

Example 1 A plastic black coated plate was obtained by coating a plastic plate (thickness: 3 mm) with a two-component urethane paint (black) to a film thickness of 20 μm. On the surface of the coated plate, 17 parts by weight of a magnetic powder material (stainless steel, particle size 10 to 30 μm, scaly form) was added per 100 parts by weight of resin, and a two-pack type acrylic urethane coating was formed to a film thickness (solid content) of 15 μm ◎ character was screen printed. In the printing, a sheet-shaped permanent magnet cut into a letter ◎ was fixed on the back surface of the plastic black coated plate so as to overlap with the letter ◎ screen plate through the plastic plate, and the above paint was screen-printed on the surface of the plastic plate. The part to which the permanent magnet was fixed was printed, the magnetic powder material was oriented, and the letter "A" appeared. After that, the permanent magnet was removed, and the obtained pattern sheet was heated at 80 ° C-3.
It was baked for 0 minutes to cure. Further, a 2-liquid acrylic urethane clear film was overcoated thereon by screen printing and baked at 80 ° C. for 30 minutes to cure. As a result, the characters that appear to be raised or dented depending on the viewing angle have a rounded, three-dimensional effect.

Example 2 A sheet-shaped permanent magnet cut in a letter ◎ was fixed to the back surface (release paper side) of a plastic film black (made by Dainippon Ink and Co., Ltd., for adhesive sheet), and powder on the front side. A two-component acrylic urethane paint prepared by adding 20 parts by weight of magnetic material (chrome powder, particle size: 10 to 30 μm) to 100 parts by weight of resin is screen-printed with a ◎ character so that the film thickness (solid content) is 15 μm. did. Printing was performed on a portion (a portion other than the letters of the magnet) where the ◎ letters of the screen printing letters and the letters of the permanent magnet did not overlap with each other through the black of the plastic film. The part where the permanent magnet was fixed was not printed, and the orientation of the magnetic powder material was performed in the peripheral part of the character, and the boundary with the character appeared strongly. After that, the permanent magnet was removed, and the obtained pattern sheet was baked at 80 ° C. for 30 minutes to be cured. Further, a 2-liquid acrylic urethane clear film was overcoated thereon by screen printing and baked at 80 ° C. for 30 minutes for curing. As a result, it had a three-dimensional effect in which the characters were visible.
